Desperately Needs Updating
The official dictionary was updated in 2022 and will be again in 2026. The app is lagging years behind having not been updated since 2018. Please update with new words added in 2022 and coming in 2026.
A great tool for family fun
I love games and scrabble is at the top of my list. This is a great tool to carry with you for impromptu games of scrabble without having to dig up a dictionary to keep your in law’s honest.
How to use this app.
Hi, I downloaded this app thinking I’ll be given a word to scrabble but it isn’t so. What do I do?
Needs to be updated
Needs to be updated to the current print version of MW Official Scrabble dictionary 7. Either update this app or offer a new edition 7. They could charge for a new version, just like buying a new dictionary.
Scrabble Dictionary
Not sure it has actually been updated. Kori and kora are not in the dictionary but are accepted and defined in the scrabble go game.
Best way to help with words
I’m only 9 years old and I love to play scrabble and with this app helps me.Ex:I search up dag it is a hanging end or shred

Look up the first word in an actual Scrabble Dictionary, “aa” - not found in this garbage app. Need to be updated or is worthless!!

Works well on iPhone as of November 2023. Quick, clear and easy to use. No problems encountered.
Why no update?
The paperback is updated regularly. Why isnt this since 2018? 2014? Works fine otherwise.

This app is based on the 5th edition of the dictionary which is now two editions old.
Very Useful
I use this app almost daily playing Word games. It is also very handy to have open when I play Scrabble with others to verify spellings.
