What’s with the amount of ads?

Yes, I will gladly rate this app. Immediately you’re asked right before you stream if you’d rather pay or watch an ad. Sure I’ll watch an ad to stream my phone to the tv. But being forced to watch 3 long advertisements? It’s just gross and infuriating. Just what kind of fat money hungry jerk is behind all these apps?
