although it still doesn’t detect my wall, it works great with the new manual placement!

just let me place it, because no matter how much i move the camera or physically move myself it doesn’t detect a wall

Thanks for the feedback! We understand the frustration, as wall detection may not work well on all devices and in all environments. We just released version 1.2 to make this experience better. We tweaked wall detection to work better in general and also added the ability to manually place a screen anywhere as a last resort. If the app still can't automatically detect your wall, simply put your device up against the wall and long press on the screen for one second. The app will place a screen where your device was (against the wall). Then you can use the various supported gestures to fine-tune the location and orientation. Please give this update a try!

The screen thing is nice enough. It would be great to have a selection of models from Vividstorm etc to choose from. Throw in some motorized animations and you have a party. Throw in match the screen to the ust throw placement and you’ve arrived at a great tool. All this did is prove i CAN squeeze a 150” screen in my living room, which wins the day.
