About

You already know you're on your phone too much. ScreenGator just makes it impossible to not notice. Brutus the Gator is here to help, albeit in his own way. One honest number, 0 to 100. It falls while you're on the screen and climbs while you're not. That's it. No streaks to protect, no badges to collect, no coach telling you how you should feel. THE NUMBER FOLLOWS YOU Your score sits on your Lock Screen, so it's there while you scroll — not buried in an app you'd have to remember to open. A Happy Gator at the top, an ANGRY GATOR at the bottom, and three moods in between. You'll know which one you're in without thinking about it. IT SHOWS UP WHEN IT MATTERS ScreenGator takes the Dynamic Island only once you start slipping, and hands it straight back when you recover. If it's there, that's the message. Alerts are rare and never twice in ten minutes — you almost certainly have other Live Activities running, and ScreenGator is a guest on that Island. GATOR LOCK (OPTIONAL) Wake the Angry Gator and ScreenGator can ask Screen Time to shield most other apps until you climb back out. You opt in, you're told exactly what gets blocked before anything is requested, and you can take an emergency unlock or turn it off entirely at any moment. Phone, Settings and ScreenGator always stay available. It's a speed bump you chose, not a cage. "I'M PUTTING IT DOWN" One button to commit. It doesn't award you points for tapping it — the score climbs when you actually leave, and tells you what the break earned when you come back. Honest, or it's worthless. WE NEVER RECEIVE YOUR DATA No account. No sign-up. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party code of any kind. ScreenGator has no servers. Your score is worked out on your device and stays there — we couldn't sell it if we wanted to, because it never reaches us. Brutus the Gator simply doesn't like too much screen usage. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT MEASURES With Screen Time permission, ScreenGator scores your whole phone. iOS only reports device usage in steps rather than continuously, so the number moves in jumps rather than second by second — and time inside ScreenGator counts against you like anything else. Without that permission it still works, but only sees itself. It tells you which one you're getting.
