This update brings new tools for picking, annotating, and managing your screenshots—plus better privacy controls and a finished Swift 6 migration under the hood. Colour Picker Pull colours straight from your screenshots with the new dropper. The info bar displays picked swatches alongside their hex codes and RGB values, with haptic feedback and hover support on Mac and Apple Pencil. Markup Mode Draw directly on your screenshots. Show Original / Revert to Original Toggle between the edited and original version of a screenshot, or revert entirely. Both options appear only once a screenshot has been edited. Text Detection • A more focused UI when you enter OCR mode • Tap recognized text for a context menu with Copy and Share (Premium) • On Mac or with Apple Pencil, hover over a text region to see the full text in a popup Library Appearance Options • Nackground colour options: System Default, Gray, and Always Dark • Thumbnail sizes: Small, Medium, Large, XL, and 2X Hidden Screenshots Better handling for your sensitive screenshots. Library Appearance settings now let you show, hide, or blur them, with an additional setting to always show or always hide. The Library Filter can also show hidden screenshots only.
