Good overall - UX is a bit tedious

The filters for selecting what to delete are meh, they don’t really suit needs. I want to see the full list of photos and drag over multiple photos to bulk select entire lines, allowing me to skip images I’d like to keep. Much like how deleting images works in the apple photos app.

The current UX means I have to still tap one by one which photos I’d like to keep after “selecting all”. so it gets the job done but its still tedious

What is the Date?

I can’t even see the date the screenshot was taken. The left/right doesn’t work when the picture is enlarged. You can’t delete more than about 3,000 screenshots without the app freezing and not deleting any items at all

Just what I needed

I have a shortcut to help with this but shortcuts isn’t very powerful so it was difficult to do. For 2 lousy bucks this app is great

Sorting not working

I used to use this app for deleting large videos due to there is a very intelligent way to sort the videos by size. Unfortunately now it is not working !! Please gentlemen look in to it and solve it ASAP

Amazing app but

Amazing app used it long time. However videos sort by size doesn’t work anymore (they’re just ordered by date). 🤷🏼‍♂️

Works great (mostly)

Works great, my 2 years old often takes pictures and videos using lock screen. And I had to delete them one by one. This app helps me filter by date to delete recent.
What i miss is automatic recent filter instead of selecting date range.

Best App for Freeing Storage

I have a 128 GB iPhone, which *sounds* great in theory. In practice, it means I can take photos for months without being forced to review / delete them. Furthermore, my iCloud backups are like 50GB, so Apple is constantly trying to sell me more storage.

I already pay for Flickr to auto back-up my camera roll, so Screeny is the BEST app to quickly delete photos / videos. And I love the present criteria, i.e.: “delete all photos except favourites.” So easy to use. 👌🏻

Caution. Works BUT Avoid large live pic deletes

Did couple of tests and things were fine. BUT trying to delete 6000 Live Photo videos crashed the app and deleted all my pics!!! Was able to undelete them thankfully but still problematic as real Deletes were mixed with App failure.

Easiest way to clean out excess snapshots

Just tried this and found I had way too many screen snapshots. (OK, more than, umm, 1000.) This let me clean out many of them, recovering a lot of space. Nice.

Doesn’t preserve order

Downloaded this to remove live versions, but all it does is “duplicate as image” (creates a new image, dated today, at the end of your photo roll) which is already available in iOS. Apple says “refund not available”

Hi, when you tap on Live Photos, the app only removes the ‘Live’ portion of the photo. The photo stays as in hence you will see the photo available in the camera roll. Maybe we will add an option in the future to delete only the Live portion of the photo OR delete the entire photo along with the live photo.

Very useful

Don’t use it often but always works great when I do!

Help!! I Can't Delete this App

It seems that I can't delete this app! It's not on my homescreen (obviously) and on my Settings page any more. However, it is still on my App Store's Purchased section and needed to be updated. Tried to update it, but it crashes. I've deleted it a month ago and I'm shocked that it still have access to my phone! Help!!

What a Waste!!

I downloaded this app, forgot about it for a couple days, then went into it. After the opening screen came up I couldn’t even remember what this was “supposed” to do, and the main screen offers no hints. Some people talk about “Options”...I couldn’t find any “Options”, other than the selection option once it finally “discovered” a few of my 9,000+ photos. I was hoping this might offer some help with duplicates, etc, but no luck.
I have over 350 screenshots, but it didn’t identify ANY of them; of my 9k photos, it identified about 24.
I don’t like app creators who have to act like “artistes” and think it’s somehow “chic” to fail to offer tutorials, FAQ’s, instructions; instead just present a minimal screen and act like anyone “worthy” was born with the necessary knowledge to maximize utility of their artwork.

If you use iCloud, don’t waste your time with this app...it won’t recognize your photos as photos. If you dig far enough down in the verbiage in the iStore it will mention this.

Most of our users love the simplicity - but you are right, it has to functional to a wider audience and not artsy. Hasn't worked since I downloaded it

Crashes every time I try to start a scan, feedback button doesn't work, would not recommend.

Useless keeps crashing

App does not work on iPad mini. It opens but crashes every time you click on the menu to do anything.
Useless.......
