It’s not really precise, and despite the text recommending more pictures, there’s no way to do that in the app. You have to just do several identifications and guess which ones are accurate.
Maybe if they’d involved photogrammetry, but I can see that getting annoying.
Just get a set of thread gauges and a micrometer. Those will be accurate and they won’t require a subscription.

If I had all the information it needs, I wouldn’t need the app
The app was unable to identify any useful information and it told me it needed things like pitch, length, diameter, etc., which is what I was trying to use the app to figure out. If I have all of those I don’t need the app
Not useful
It needed more than the two photos. I tried the free trial but it still didn’t give me much. It wanted a ruler and calipers to get an accurate reading. If I had my ruler and calipers on me I wouldn’t need the app.
AI dependent
It relies entirely on the idea that the gemini ai identifies whatever picture you take. So far it hasn’t been reliable at all, and since it charges you to use more than 3 guesses per day (including erroneous guesses) it is more reliable to just use google

Too bad it wasn’t “Length: 3.5mm”, that which one may refer to as also “accurate”.
Guessing the subscription is for the Ai analysis bit? If the free version is to be taken as an indicator of worth, perhaps another might find this review suited to their needs, precisely and accurately, if not completely.
