Slow and Glitchy
I find it’s quicker using the browser than the app. Pages sometimes hang. Also noticed that you go through the payment process several, card shows serval pending payments but it sorts itself out eventually.

Frustratingly i have to delete and redownload this app every 2 weeks as it refuses to open. As a trademan i use screwfix daily but this issue is really frustrating.

Error on opening
All Ive been getting is: CONFIGLOADINGERROR.HEADER whenever I have tried to use the app recently, thought it might have been a one off one day but it hasnt been fixed since I first got the error a few weeks ago.

Every time I go to use the app I spend more time trying to log in than it’s worth. I keep getting told there’s nothing wrong with it but why do I have problems. On the few occasions I have used it it’s great but the time and trouble trying to log in makes it a waste of time

I like(d) Screwfix due to the no frills, quick shopping experience. Stop this nonsense gamification, you’re a trade shop, not temu or shein.
Furthermore, screwfix own answers to products Q&A were already bad, now that they use AI to answer based on the product description, they are even worse

Rubbish app, keeps crashing on both my iphone and ipad. Have to end up buying from Toolstation as their app works. Been like this for two years. Come on Screwfix, get your act together.
Poor build app
No rewards showing up. Asking me to update when i cluck update it says i have the latest version. Idiots
Search Engine
Really hard to find or define your search, if you don’t know what Screwfix have called an item, you have no chance. Struggle to understand why Screwfix do not employ a decent search engine to enable you to find what you need using meta tags
