Can’t share the drawings to photo

Confused
At the bottom of the screen is the option to undo, pen with colors and then there the hand with pointer. What’s the purpose of that? I select it and nothing happens. I can’t draw doodle, select, nothing. What’s the purpose ?
Useless
Bought the Boogie Board for our son for Christmas. He already wore out/broke his previous Boogie Board. We have no issues with the hardware, but the software is garbage. What’s the use if you cannot save the captures to your images and share them? Completely useless. Can I give less than one star?
Saving and sharing
Whole point was to capture what my son was drawing, can’t even save to photos. For a popular holiday gift, this app is well below expectations.

Useless app for a pretty fun product
This app is garbage and doesn’t do what it advertises. Thankfully the drawing board is fun. It the app doesn’t even let you send or save the images to your phone . Pathetic.
Great idea
My daughter loves it. She draws on the tablet and we save her pictures on the app. But, now we can’t share. In a world of social media and share this-share that, why would you remove the share feature?

The app doesn't seem to have a workable version for earlier systems. Also, I find the advertising on the toy packaging itself misleading.
Works but needs improvement
The app works! I drew something on the Scribble n Play, scanned it (manually), and after a bit of cleanup I had a scan.
The app doesn’t know where the boundaries of the device are, so I had to do a manual scan. And because of that, the scan app interprets the border as part of your drawing, leaving some noise on the border. The app has an eraser tool. Using that I cleaned up the border. I could easily text the resultant image to friends.
The app doesn’t know what colors you’ve actually drawn on your Scribble n Play, so I think what it’s doing is scanning, reversing the image, sending everything to black and white, then applying a rainbow effect to the scan. Would be neat if it used the colors I drew in. Would be neat if it could also just scan to black & white. Then I could color as I please.
Overall, a silly & fun purchase for kids & adults alike.

Unable to Scan Pictures
Unable to scan pictures. Keep getting and message saying I need to check my camera and photo settings. I have and can’t fix the problem there. After reading reviews here, it looks like the developer either doesn’t read the reviews or has abandoned the app.

Doesn’t scan accurately
The concept for this app is cool, but it needs TONS more development before it is released as an app. I just tried to scan some words I wrote on my son’s new Scribble n Play, and the scan came out as scribbles. The app is advertised on the Scribble n Play package as “Save & Share, available on the App Store,” but an app that doesn’t work shouldn’t be advertised as a potential incentive for buying a product.

Scan to app not working
I am really disappointed that this app does not allow me to scan my granddaughter’s drawings. Will this be fixed soon. The board itself is a very wonderful teaching and fun tool.

Crash after tap scan
Every time I try to scan, after tap button as it scan.... it crashes/quit.
Scribble n play
Not very good, very inconsistent, does not scan very well at all.
This app now works - yay!
After seeing the release of the Boogie board Chalkboard, I decided to download and try this app again. It now works, and works quite well.
(Original review: My son drew his first ever picture of his Mum on his Scribble n Play Boogie Board. I dashed to download the app, excited that I could scan a copy to my phone. I've made five attempts to "scan" it now and the app just sits in never-ending analyze mode not doing anything. Very disappointed.)
