A feature-rich app with tons of possibilities
Nothing Else Like It
There is nothing else like it on the App Store!
Recent updates have made Scripting the most complete and useful tool on my devices. It integrates with the system (and optionally AI as well) so you can do just about anything you could imagine possible with your devices, limited only by the OS itself. I would love to dive deeper into the app’s capabilities, and it’s a great way to learn anything as you go!
Thank you so much dev for making this app available… please keep it updated so we don’t lose access to these tools, and keep them coming! Lifetime purchase was a no-brainer.

Desktop widgets are extremely powerful: they can retrieve system data very smoothly, and easily make desktop Widgets such as water water tracking, habit punching, daily data panel, etc., with perfect practicality.
Excellent native experience: smooth operation, no tedious compilation process, you can see the effect on the home screen immediately after modifying the code, and the feeling of real-time feedback is great.

I used to use another app, but today I tried Scripting – and what a pleasant surprise! It's such an efficient, simple tool app – so convenient and smooth to use. I really love it.

Interesting app, but it breaks Markdown file handling
Installing this app changes the file type of .md files on iOS from “Markdown” to “Scripting Source File.”
As a result:
- Tapping a .md file in the Files app no longer shows a Quick Look text preview.
- Shortcuts can no longer read the text contents of .md files correctly.
Third-party text editors such as Textastic can still open these files, so it appears that Scripting registers the .md extension as its own custom file type. Since Markdown is a widely used standard format, this system-wide behavior should be changed. Deleting the app restores normal Markdown handling.
The app itself looks very interesting, and I wanted to use it, but I can’t keep it installed because of this issue. I’d be happy to try it again once this is fixed.
Environment:
iPhone 16 / iOS 26.5.2 / Scripting 3.2.0
As a result:
