Doesn’t let you use already recorded audio
I’d assumed that the audio I’d recorded, and that other cast members had recorded would be turntable into a script by importing into this. But it doesn’t. Please add this feature? Otherwise I’ve spent money on nothing. Admittedly the line learner app itself is amazing and I’m grateful, so I see this as giving a tip. But that’s the feature I’d like from this.

Great companion app for LineLearner
I was excited to see this app was available to parse recordings to characters. Recorded a read through using the app and set to work. I started on my phone but thought it would be easier on an iPad- Peter was very responsive to my request and provided step by step instructions to transfer the audio file.
Recommend using a slow speed to mark the lines for individual characters - saves time when fine tuning the assignment process. Export to LineLearner was seamless and I’m on my way! Great pair of apps!

Super app and super support!
I have been using LineLearner for several shows now. I just got a role in The Importance of Being Ernest. We had the opportunity of a table read, so this was the perfect time to try ScriptRecorder as others were also wanting a recording. I recorded the 3 act 2 hour show at the rehearsal and then got to work. Assigning roles and fine tuning the lines took some diligence, but it does pay off as I can hear my cast mates reading their lines, not just me recording their lines!
I got to the Generate Script step and got stuck after Scene 1! Oh No! I tried a few options, but I decided to email support this morning. I got a very quick reply with possible solutions and workarounds, but most importantly the commitment of the developer to make this the best possible experience.
(BTW, It was user error as I had a stage direction with no time associated to it. Once I fixed it, it generated quickly, I was able to share it with the rest of the cast!)

Good but
To make it really useful one should be able to import recordings from external apps or that someone sent you ...
Doesn’t live up to expectations
I was quite excited to use this app and help my team learn their lines more easily. We recorded the script, and the app is SO clunky for editing lines. Several times, I had to scroll back from the end of the recording through 1/3 or 2/3 of the recording, in increments of .2 seconds. It took forever!
The lines aren’t populating into the scenes, so now the hours I’ve already put in are completely wasted. Very disappointed.
