About

A personal Bible study environment that puts translation, commentary, cross-references, lexicons, devotionals and your own notes in one focused workspace — and keeps all of it on your own device. Your library is already waiting. The built-in Online Catalogue offers more than 4,600 modules, free to download: over 2,400 Bibles, more than 1,500 commentaries, 400 dictionaries, plus lexicons, devotionals, cross-references and reading plans, in more than 900 languages. Choose a language, download what you need, and study it offline. Select a verse and the Companion Panel fills in beside the text: thirteen study modes, each one following the verse you are reading. • Commentary that scrolls in sync with your selection • Cross-references, including keyword-grouped treasury-style systems • Strong's numbers — tap any word in a tagged Bible for the Hebrew or Greek entry • Interlinear — the whole chapter word by word, with transliteration, morphology and Strong's numbers • Dictionaries, encyclopedias and lexicons • Sefaria links — Jewish-tradition connections to Old Testament verses • Bible maps, a timeline anchored to the book you are in, and a built-in web panel • brIΛn, an optional AI study assistant A LIBRARY OF OVER 4,600 MODULES Modules in more than 900 languages, from the widely read to the rarely published: Bibles first, with commentaries, dictionaries, lexicons, devotionals, cross-references and reading plans alongside them. Open the Online Catalogue from the Modules tab, browse by language and category, and download them free in a tap. Everything you download is stored on your device. BRING YOUR OWN LIBRARY Already have modules? Import them from MyBible, e-Sword, MySword and other SQLite-based formats. They convert automatically and land in an app-managed library. Keep your own collection in iCloud Drive, OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or an organisation's file server and copy across what you need; your originals stay where they are. ORIGINAL LANGUAGES, PROPERLY HANDLED Strong's search is a full concordance: every tagged verse for a number, in canonical order, with the exact word carrying that number highlighted — never the identical word beside it. Hebrew, Greek, Septuagint, Vulgate, Vetus Latina, Peshitta, Targumic Aramaic and Church Slavonic texts are all supported, with manuscript apparatus where the module provides it. STUDY THAT STAYS WITH YOU Press and hold a verse number (right-click on the Mac) to open a note anchored to that verse. On the Mac, notes are a full editor — headings, bold, bullets, colour — saved as you type. On iPhone and iPad they are simple plain-text notes, and a note formatted on the Mac opens there read-only. Notes sync through iCloud. A calendar, reading plans and a daily devotional sit in the ToDo and Time Alone tabs, so the reading you plan and the reading you did are in the same place. EBOOKS ON THE MAC Point the app at a folder of EPUB and PDF books and read them next to your study, with full-text search inside them. YOURS TO KEEP Modules are stored locally. Search runs on your device. The AI assistant is optional and uses your own API key — or Apple Intelligence on-device where available. Try everything free for 30 days; unlocking is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.

What's New in ScriptureStudy Pro™

2.3.3

October 29, 2026

What's New in 2.3.3 Notes return to iPhone and iPad, the free trial is longer, and the Companion Panel moves more smoothly in ScriptureStudy Pro™. • Notes on iPhone and iPad: write, edit, search and delete notes, synced with your Mac through iCloud. A note formatted on the Mac opens read-only on iPhone and iPad, with a small "i" that explains why; edit it on the Mac. To change a note without leaving the Bible, press and hold its verse number and choose Edit Note. eBooks are still on the Mac only. • A longer free trial: the trial is now 30 days, and everyone's starts again with this update. Basic owners are offered 14 days of Full, instead of 7. • Companion Panel: on iPhone and iPad, tap the three bars to step it from half to full to closed, or flick it down to close it. Strong's entries now use your reading font and size. • iPhone: Notes, Modules and Settings open with a back arrow that returns you to where you were. Verse and word menus appear as small cards instead of full-screen sheets, and a word near the foot of the page opens its menu above it when there is no room below. • Announcements: the inbox icon appears on the Desk only while something is unread, and is always in More. When a new version of the app is available, the inbox tells you. • Fixes: Open in Notes from the Companion now works on iPhone. The Encyclopedia title bar no longer drops halfway down the panel after you close and reopen it. After following a link to a verse, tapping another verse moves the highlight. • The help pages are updated in every language, with a new Announcements page.
