Needs some fixes, but I like it
First image from the scroll video was excellent and even generated the image without the subtitles. After my 6th try with the second scroll video that has no subtitles, it still won’t generate properly even after slowing the speed as recommended and trimming it a few times. I’m gonna slow it down a second time after refreshing the app and hope it works. It's all worth the effort because the apps free.

It really works
This may be one of the few apps, maybe the only app, that actually works to create a long skinny image of a webpage, such as an article in an on-line newspaper. It works differently than other apps in that you first record a movie of your screen as you scroll through the article. ScrollSnap does not tell you how to do that, but you can find how to do that online using a built-in feature of the iPhone. The iPhone saves the movie to your Photos app. Once you have the movie saved you open the ScrollSnap app and upload the movie. It then creates the long skinny image (which I think is in JPEG format) and saves the image to your photos.
An inspection of the only time I’ve used this reveals that it is virtually 100% accurate. Even photos come through as very presentable still images. There was one small area where two lines of the text were blurred, but it was a duplication of content and I can delete the blurred part using something like the StitchPic app.
Very clever, and I’m very pleased with the ScanSnap.

Thank you for the kind instruction for using the app :) the tool intends to be simple and frictionless. It works nicely if the content doesn’t scroll too fast. Slowing it down should address most issues if not all.
What a cool and useful idea
I always wanted an app to take longer screenshots in case it’s a longer document that doesn’t fit in one page. There are some other options that you have to take a lot of screenshots and they teach them together. Sometimes works sometimes doesn’t.
