Needs an update
A lot to like about this app, the home page is not one of them.
I have no desire to look at men half a world away who I will never possibly meet.

So much better than the “other” app
Because:
-the interface is so much better
-they have ONE price for a subscription
-they aren’t constantly trying to upsell you to get access to features
-maybe it’s just me, but I feel the guys on Scruff are just nicer and there are fewer flakes

Meh
Used to be reasonable but now most everything option is subscription only. At $20/month buys a streaming service. Too expensive.
Overrated
Terrible platform and not worth the cost to join. The things limiting users to incentivize joining just not worth the cost (read messages, number of profile views, history of conversations, etc). Too many other platforms provide more for less!

I like use it scruff but the blank profile that are scamming people out of money and married people on to it behind their wife’s back and they husband back and they keep putting rude pictures on their profile that is what I don’t like about it
Stop Paywalling Basic Features
Locking the nearby grid behind a paywall is a poor user experience. Seeing more nearby profiles isn’t a luxury feature. It is the core purpose of the app!!! Limiting everyone unless they subscribe just makes me want to use Sniffies.
Just expand the free grid and reserve premium features that actually add value! The basic functionality of this makes your app stupid.

I filled out my profile only for it not to have saved!!! I got better things to be doing than re-filling in all this information.

I’ve been a member on this app for several years. Never once have I been argumentative, crass, arrogant or disrespectful…
Just as many of these “apps” in several platforms… the allowance of “reporting” holds privilege to the lesser than, pond scum, jealous and saddened individuals that will never compare to you…

Preventing spoofs
Scruff needs to do a better job of screening people from other countries pretending they are local. They are just scammers and I feel that Scruff hasn’t obligation to prevent that come across multiple people saying they’re from Russia and China in other countries such as Dubai,Pakistan

They block you however they want and don’t unblock you for days—even though you’ve sent screenshots to the support center… it’s a total waste of time
It’s boring
Because nobody local wants to date you or anything they don’t contact you if you smile at them, they don’t tell you. Hi it’s just a sad side.

Lacks features
Better than the yellow gay app most use but it lacks features like others such as streaming chat where others can join, non sexual content obviously but would improve the appeal to others.
Bad side is a limit to how many people you can block unless you pay which is very important especially if other users keep making multiple accounts and are harassing people or fake spam accounts.

Classier than Grindr
I like it that you can’t see people’s awful nudes on profile photos! It’s a classier gay dating app but it’s still the same people just acting like a completely different person on each app they use so that’s why it gets 2 stars
Scammers
There are still a lot of scammers using pictures of someone else, promoting their massage services, asking for money upfront and probably scamming naive and lonely people…
verified accounts should be mandatory for people that promote their services or profile promoting services should be banned!

More fake profiles. Scam artists everywhere. Rarely quality connections for an overpriced subscription.
