no offline mode is ridiculous
why would you build the app this way? can’t play it on a plane, can’t play it on the go, can’t play it unless you have wi-fi… it’s insane
Doesn't work offline
Every time I go out of service, the game becomes stuck on the loading screen. It's rather annoying. I don't expect much from Asmodee to begin with as they abandon games after a period of time (Splendor, for ex) anyway. But I expect that something as popular as this game would be challenging and work offline all the time. 3 stars for the game. Zero for Asmodee and Knights of Unity

Love a digital option
This game is true to the board game version in most regards. It does have a few quirks I wish that they’d straighten out, mostly for the online play, getting a game started requires coordination so your friends are online at the same time, even if you’re setting the game up for come and go play with a 30 day limit. There are also seemingly no push notifications when it’s your turn. Minor nuisances but they could improve quality of life. A bigger more confusing thing is that when someone ends those style games the game just vanishes, no way to see final moves or final scores. Who won? Only the player who made the final move may know.

Game will not load
The game will not load on MacOS, I have had this game for over a year, but now it will not load. The most recent update was 2 months ago
Needs some modifications
I like scythe and the app is good at allowing me to play with friends not in the area. Extra gameplay means I’ve learned a lot more about the game, which is very nice. However:
Sometimes if I’m playing a play-and-go game, I’ll do my move, click “end turn” and then close the app (because of the menu thing: it never works to tab back in!) and it won’t transmit my completed turn to the server? Then I’m just losing time??
I can’t invite my buddies if they’re offline, and the in-the-process game will sometimes close out if I exit the app to text them to get online so I can invite them.
Also, when and how the back button can be used is deeply confusing, especially in online games. There should be an option to allow you to undo your current turn. The buttons are small and thumbs are not dexterous.

No Offline Mode
You have to be connected to the internet for the app to load and play ‘offline’ It makes no sense.
Nope
A game that I have to pay for and download should work even if I’m not connected to the internet.
Lots of us issues
Hard to see what others are doing, undo button doesn’t work, cant see which actions are upgradable, confusing interface, and many other UI issues. Steam version is preferable.

Doesn’t start in not logged into Game Center
Have be logged into Game Center to open the app. Even if you don’t want to play an online game.
Not working on MacBook Pro
Just sits in a loading screen. Seems others are having the same issue. I’d hold off on buying until the creator fixes this issue.

Amazing game with a great mobile adaptation, just a few downfalls
Great game but while playing pass and go there is no notification when your turn is ready.
There is also no way to start game with friends that aren’t logged in and online. Very annoying to have to sync up a time to both open the app and get online to start a game.

Clunky
Great board game but this app needs work. The fact that you can’t undo a move before your move action is done is enough to ruin the gameplay for me
Lacks Integrity
Upon downloading the app, the game wouldn’t load. I immediately reported the problem, but 2 days later I had not received a response, so I requested a refund, but it said I didn’t qualify for a refund. Don’t risk the money for a a game you may not be able to play.
Game has certain steps to load
I originally gave this game a one star because it couldn’t even load up the menu, but it turns out that you just have to make sure that you’re connected to your game’s center with an account with the same email as the one in the App Store. Than you have to uninstall the game and then reinstall it. If you hear music while it’s loading, it should be working.

Have loved the board game and now thrilled to play on my phone as well.
A couple of suggestion I’d love to see implemented.
-The app seems more suited for “play and stay” games. I play a mostly “play and go” games. If I could leave a “play and go” game invite “open” while I left the app, I would end up playing more games. It’s hard to find matches when I have to keep the app open and live.
-On the note of “play and go” games, it seems there are no push notifications for when it is your turn. This would make the “play and go” games much more playable.
-For “play and stay” games I recognize the need to avoid “undo” moves. For “play and go” games with much more time, having undo enabled would be very nice.
-I do appreciate the graphics(the isometric view like a live over the table board). There are times it can make it hard to see the simple details. Adding a toggle on the settings to keep the general simple detailing and be able to zoom in just top down view would be handy (just like when the screen is fully zoomed out, but being able to zoom in on that view).
All in all, love the game and this is enabling me to keep playing it on the daily, so thank you for all your work, much appreciated!
