Zu teuer

Man muss verschiedene Features in der App kaufen (meistens für 3.99€). Wir haben 8€ ausgegeben und die App bringt noch keinen Vorteil. Da kann man lieber kostenlos die Handkarten für den Automa nutzen.

Not worth it

I was anticipating a more intuitive app. On my first move I couldn’t add a second worker to a village. Plus there is no help section at all. I understand it doesn’t replace the board but it should allow for more options. Disappointed in the overall performance.

Nickelled and Dimed

I really love the idea of this app. I was really excited to use the automa and AR functionality but after realizing it’s several in-app purchases I’ll stick to analog. Would have been happy to pay $10 for the app and have everything unlocked but this is ridiculous.

No benefit

There is no real benefit to using this app over just playing the game normally. There is no real difference between drawing the automa cards on the iPad versus just picking them up from the normal deck, except that the iPad takes up significantly more space on the table.

It does have a scoring assistant, but it is slower than just scoring the game normally.

As others have pointed out, but apparently the developers have ignored, the text is extremely small on an iPad screen resulting in significant amounts of wasted space. The app interface is also very unintuitive, with tiny buttons along the edge of the screen.

I wanted to be enthusiastic, but unfortunately it’s no better than just doing things manually in the game.

Great app for solo players!

Very useful but a request for the devs, can you please make the text larger on the iPad version. I’m on the 13” iPad Pro and most of the text is quite small with lots of wasted space on screen.

Great! Well Worth the in App Purchases

Made playing Automa so much easier. I played with 2 other AI and it’s so fun. Now I don’t have to wait for my friends anymore, I can just play alone

Automa map not updating

Cannot get the automa map to update which is the only reason i purchased the app and upgrade. Also the interface looks different from user manual. Im using an older iphone se, so maybe that is the issue. Disappointing purchase though.

Essential

This app is essential for any one who likes to play Scythe solo as it pretty much runs the entire Automa for you. Plus, it will play multiple Automas, so no need for additional decks.

Add in its faction/mat choosing, campaign functionality, scoring system etc and it becomes even more useful.

Ótimo para ajudar na movimentação do automa

Primeiramente, gostaria de pedir uma tradução para Português-BR.
Então, o app é excelente para ajudar na movimentação do automa que é complicadinho de aprender sozinho.

Amazing helper

Used this to score every game we've played. Are there any plans to support Modular Board layouts with Automa?

Good app for end game calculation

You need to have an instruction button showing me how to use this.
At first I wasn’t able to quite figure it out so I only played with it so I could give you a review, asking you to add a function, but before I deleted the app and after giving you only two stars on my review I went back and played with it and figure it out that it is there.

This will help me calculate the end of the game and that’s what I needed the most .

Très bonne application/Very good application

Très bonne application. Mes j’aimerais bien la version française… Tous comme le jeu qui es en français c’est pas tous le monde qui comprend bien l’anglais.

Very good application. But I would like the French version... All as the game which is in French it is not all the world which understands English well.

No calculator

New update gets rid of the SÇYTHE calculator that was complimentary. Low move. Not cool. Zero stars.

Updated review: great app, new update makes things a bit confusing

Update: the developer responded to my review and so I updated to clarify. The new update adds tons of great features but for someone like me who just used the app to calculate final score, that feature became much more complicated. I prefer to have a single page to input stats, territories, coins, etc... per faction instead of the app alternating between faction for each of these end game scoring factors. Hopefully that makes sense

Response from developer

Thanks! Would you prefer scoring all the points of one player before advancing to the next? That’s pretty easy. It turns out that the taps in both the old and the new methods are the same but a preference would be easy.

What to buy?

App needs an all-in gameplay tier in-app purchase. It’s too confusing right now as the app is constructed to ascertain what you must buy because some in-app purchases have prerequisites. Bear in mind this app with all its features could be almost as expensive as the board game itself. The fonts should also be larger or scalable for people with sight impairment, and a high-contrast option would be welcome.

Aside from some UX issues, it works well

I use it primarily for playing with four automas. I found it to have a fairly steep learning curve with regards to letting it determine the automa movements (easily solved - stopped using it for that). However, even when using it to just manage the decks, there just isn’t enough of an indication as to which automa you’re working with. With four automas and automa v automa combat, a better indicator than the star marker / slightly different faction icon at the top would be helpful (e.g., change the background color). I’ve used the wrong automa more than once and it’s something I’m always having to double-check. Finally, it would be nice if the user could mark automa earned stars (power and combat stars). In fact, it should be able to actually track the power amounts as it knows starting power, power gain, and combats.

If you own Scythe then you need this app

Absolute must have purchase if you own Scythe. Makes playing the Automa a breeze and certainly helps with the initial learning curve with coming to terms with some of the Automa specific concepts. The end game scoring function is a bonus and handy both against the Automa and regular multiplayer games. Developer is super responsive to queries and has app specific tutorials available online. Highly recommended.

Dreadful clunkiness

Struggled to me this useable as it is so un intuitive. And the irritation of micro in game purchases for every small add in makes the final package expensive.

Good app but worth the cost???

Yes this helps greatly in figuring out the automa moves. And in scoring at the end. I’m just not sure what we get warrants the cost involved. I feel the app should be able to keep track of more. Multiple workers or mechs...just use a small x2 or x3, etc. Or keep track of combat cards we should have. Humans would enter how many they used to update their count. The cost should come down or give the app more in my opinion.

Response from developer

I felt the UI was simplified by just toggling the units. It is true that the app could bookkeep a few more things but there are some edge cases as well.

tres bonne appli

Trés bonne appli surtout pour joueur à 1 joueur ou rajouter un joueur virtuel à plusieurs !
compter de nombreux achats additionnels pour activer les extentions mais l'application de base est bien poir calculer les points.
