About

Walking is sailing. Sea Legs turns the streets around you into an uncharted sea. Your first GPS fix founds your Home Port, and everything beyond it is fog. Your ship moves only when you do. A walk to the shops is a trading run. TRADE LIKE IT'S 1820 Every island is a real place you can walk to, its dock sitting on an actual footpath. Ports have permanent personalities: one glutted with fish, another desperate for silk. Prices drift by the hour, and they notice you. Flood a harbor with pearls and watch the price sink under your own boots. The fortune is in the spread, and the spread is a walk away. CLIMB FROM CASTAWAY TO COMMODORE Start as a shipwrecked stranger with an empty hold. Buy your first sloop. Refit her. Hire a navigator who sees further, a cartographer who makes your charts permanent, a gunner who halves the price of cannon. Take a loan you maybe shouldn't. Buy a bigger hull. Sail a fleet. THE SEA DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU Pirates prowl and give chase. Outrun them, out-gun them, or strike your colors and pay. Storms roll in and put holes in your hull. Debt compounds. You can lose everything, and a career that ends is memorialized in the Hall of Fame with the score it earned. SAIL THE SAME SEA AS YOUR FRIENDS Send a letter of passage and a friend sails YOUR archipelago: the same islands, the same ports, the same prices, in their own ship and with their own fortune. Their sail shows on your chart as they walk. WHAT'S IN IT - A world generated from real walkable paths, so every port is somewhere you can actually stand - A trading economy with port personality, hourly drift and market impact - 13 hulls from a dinghy to a Man-of-War, with refits - Crew with real jobs: navigator, cartographer, gunner, purser, supercargo, carpenter, sailmaker, fisherman - Pirates, sea battles, storms, fishing, and a tavern that talks - Banking, loans, reputation, and ruin - Fog of war that remembers where you've been - Shared seas by invite, and shipmates' sails on your chart - Optional rewarded videos: never required, never interrupting BEFORE YOU SET SAIL Sea Legs needs location access and is meant to be played outdoors, on foot. It uses GPS the way a maps app does. An optional background-sailing mode keeps the voyage going with the screen locked. Save your captain to an account and your career survives a new phone. Fair winds, captain.

What's New in Sea Legs

1.2.0

Fish now school beyond the fisherman's reach, so his catches come from real sailing. The status bar makes room on a second row when hull damage and fishnet counts crowd it. Your harbor list stays current even if you close the game mid-voyage. Plus stability fixes for smoother sailing.
