Another cash grab…
This app sucks because, sure you CAN give you an answer. But you can only do a few a day. All freedom of using this app is locked behind a “subscription”. Identification itself is also bad. It’s so picky about the image. Like if it’s “blurry” but it’s perfectly clear. One star. Cash grab.

It can't focus on anything smaller than a brick wall. I just paid $40 for the lifetime subscription. That's money down the drain. DO NOT BUY

Awwsome app,I found out one of my shells are worth a lot

got this for my puerto rico trip and first it made me subscribe to do more than TWO shells. as soon as i subscribed, suddenly it can’t identify any of the shells i put in. waste of time.

Uploaded basic shells and it did not correctly identify any of them!
Useless Tool
If you have any rare or uncommon shells this tools is pretty much useless. The only Murex it seems to identify properly is a Venus Comb murex.
Of course, about half the other murexes I tried were also identified as Venus Comb murexes with no option to change.
Heck, it identified a Triton’s Trumpet as a Textile Cone shell. There needs to be a LOT more work on whatever is being used for the AI input.

HORRIBLE app
I did my due diligence by starting with shells that I have already in fact PROPERLY identified and this app identified it as 3 completely different shells, it totally misidentified one species as another, one not even remotely close I am a professional photographer by trade, so I made sure to have proper and adequate lighting, different colors underneath for balance, and shot from different angles to showcase features. After shooting 20 unidentified, or improperly identified, shells I gave up and deleted the app. The use of their camera leaves a lot to be desired as well

Hard Time Identifying
It’s a very cool app and gives great information. I also like the digital collection book. However, I feel like it had a hard time identifying shells. I scanned quite a few and most of the time it couldn’t identify.
