Far more than a tow service. They are more like a friend, always there to help you. Even when you need help on your boat, because you are stuck in a hospital, like I am, today.
What is the point
They just just pull this thing down. It is just an ad for Seatow. Aside from linking me to their website to sign up or renew it does nothing.

Other than providing your lat & long and dropping your location pin this app doesn’t offer anything else.

Longtime Sea Tow member. Went on the app today and was a bit confused at first because it basically has no features anymore. I thought I was just on some sea tow website page by accident. Nope! Why why why would you wreck an app like this?? PLEASE create a fully functioning real app again and soon.

I’m honestly concerned about the viability of Seatow. The earlier app had promise but this is a joke. Not investing as the new gen of boaters that need you the most, it’s concerning. BoatUS will cover my local tow if needed and native to the other area where i boat. For the first time, I’m considering other options. (Yes, they exist).

Just signed up with Sea-Tow, considering canceling after seeing this app!
This app does not make me feel like their service will be good. I went and signed up BoatU.S. As well after seeing this app as i have no confidence in Sea-Tow if this is my first impression.

I just installed it. As soon as I opened it, it confirmed what everyone else says. Absolute garbage. Don’t waste your time.

The app is nearly worthless with location data being the only thing useful. The app tells you to go to their website for literally everything else. Why even have an app then???

New App is terrible
I am in total agreement with everyone who thinks the new app is a joke. I liked having my Sea Tow membership card on my phone and all of the other features the old app had. Updating an app is not always a good thing and this app proves it. Sea Tow should go back to the old format!!!
App shows location and phone but not account number
What the heck is wrong with seatow. They remove the apps optional features and take away the account number which is the first thing you need for the call. Really dumb.
Listen to your users
I’ve been a Seatow member now for 6 years. I liked the app better the way it was before with weather and tide data like many others have stated. I also had a tough time trying to cancel my renewing membership. Everything was much better prior to this app refresh. Please listen to your customer base!! The new features are nice, just incorporate them into the old app and “poof” you have a happy customer base and a refreshed app!! Problem solved!

New app is useless
The old app actually did some useful stuff. This one does nothing at all. It just has links to seatow.com. It doesn’t even have a way to logon to your seatow account. Basically you can call or email seatow and share your location. Woop de doo. I’m deleting this app. I hope you didn’t pay a developer much for this.

SINK THIS APP TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA
Nothing working. Used to have tides, weather, location, maps, heading, now all it wants is to make an emergency call.
Newer app version is terrible
I had SeaTow including the SeaTow app in 2019 and had no issues also loved all the features of the app. I was having problems renewing my membership after their obvious changes for this year and finally got it all started back up as I have a new boat now and can only say the current app is a joke nothing compared to the previous app and the website is a joke as well as it is nothing but trying to sell you membership even if you already have membership. I have previously had BoatsUS and used them without issue and will likely switch back if SeaTow doesn’t figure out their app and online process.

This app bites. But Seatow is a decent service. Why can’t you get someone to design an app with functionality?
The New App is Garbage
It’s really sad. The old app was actually pretty good but this one is complete garbage. It has no features included and routes you to a web site. That defeats the whole purpose of having an App! This App is crap.

The Worst
The new app is horrible, no function what so ever, might as well just have the phone number in your phone and call when needed. Miss the charts and wether function and now we have no VHF radio check in my area. Next year going to try the competition
Totally useless app
I haven’t used it in a few years and it was showing my membership was expired, which it was not. So I deleted it and added it back. The new version removed the tide and weather info and has nothing useful at all. Not even account info. What is the point?
New app is not good
I sold my old boat a few years ago and just purchased a new one. I purchased sea tow again expecting to app to have all of the old features (mainly weather and tide data) and keep getting kicked out. If I would have known the new app was missing these features I would have signed up with someone else.
