App Broke
I downloaded app. Couldnt get it loaded. It konks out when trying to upload a photo for the account. Wont allow an upload. Couldnt use the free trial or anything.

Good Customer Service
I was having issues with the UI and the app crashing. I reached out to customer service and they helped me resolve all of these issues. They were quick to respond and clear in their explanation on how to fix the problems I was having. I highly recommend this app. Currently studying for my 500ton mate’s tests.

Using app for studding DDE the general and safety stability and fire test is spot on. The electrical isn’t spot on at all maybe only a few questions I got on my test. Other wise it’s a great tool
Please fix the audio button
The audio button for the tests is gone or getting blocked by the numbers under the question. Please fix this. I’m a really slow reader and the audio function helped me rip through a bunch of questions. Now It takes me much longer to get through the same amount of test questions.
Best USCG Studying App
I have been using the app and the website for a long while now. The new updated version has been helping me study so much better. I highly recommend giving it a try to see for yourself. The customer service on their end has also been helpful and responsive. 10/10 highly recommend giving it a try.

Bug when signing up resolved
The developer was very responsive when I let them know that I could not complete the signup process. There was an app update after that and I was able to get started. The content and format look very interesting, so I am looking forward to learn more.

Just went 5/5 on first engineers unlimited, in and out in 4 hours. Sea trials made it all possible! Questions were super up to date, maybe saw 10/350 I didn’t recognize

The perfect study app for USCG licensing exams
I initially used this app 4 years ago to study for my 3AE license exams, in unison with my license prep course. I stand by this app and the structure of the study material and ability to break down sections and generate test. It is the ONLY material I used to pass my license prep course as well as my exams. The app made it so easy to study and generate test, it became addicting to study! It actually motivated me to study because I actually enjoyed the interface and the ease of access of all the material. I also enjoyed how some test questions that required a diagram had a direct link to it making it easier to navigate and study. Whereas some other applications/study material require you to scroll through an entire pdf or web page before finding the diagram. The time it takes to find the diagram on other apps, I’ve already forgot the question and have to flip back and forth several times. I also enjoyed the ability to flip through sections (and subsections) with or without the answers shown AND to shuffle the order of the questions.

It’s okay
Question bank is decent. Not all the questions though. It’s great for on the go and offline study. My biggest complaint is the lack of solutions. When you’re working a problem out, don’t expect this app to have solutions drawn out like Lapware. Might have to use both.
Worth the investment!
I started my Chief Mate studying with Upgrade U and then Lapware, and added in sea trials at the end. Should have used sea trials from the beginning! I like the ease of the program both on the go and on a laptop, and the AI function to explain things is very helpful. Sea trials was a great addition to my study plan and would recommend to anyone to use for studying for Chief Mate!

This app has been the best resource I have used while studying for my original 1600 Ton Mate license. I suggest it to all mariners seeking to advance from AB to Mate
