The first app which is free immediately directs you to pay for the actual app £6. The app itself very poorly designed and with very little useful information

Seabook has been free since 2013. There are no ads and no subscription. Simply close the pop-up and continue using the app at no cost. Seabook Master is also available, offering additional content and features, with no pop-ups and expanded materials. The app is designed to support maritime education and training, has served the industry for years, and will continue to do so with ongoing upgrades. Please consider Seabook+ for the enriched content. Outdated: navigation doesn’t work

Ironically, I cannot navigate in this app on my iPhone 16. The navigation buttons at the top overlap with iPhone menu bar and don’t respond. The font is also annoyingly large. Please update and also meet Apple’s privacy requirements as indicated in the App Store.

Wealth of information

There is lots of info in this app (the paid version). It’s never easy trying to squeeze chapters of information in a bullet point type app but this is a good help for those not able to do the background reading. Useful as an aid de memoir but no substitute to leaning the long way!

Best marine application

It has enough things to know about the daily work of ships, and after this update it has become one of the best pro books. But one problem is that I cannot open the updated version every time I open the aap. They show me about the update. I need to go to the aap store then I can open the update version
