Great alternative to nextcloud
I’m surprised how fast it loads anything. Simple UI, and I’ve ran into very few bugs or issues. Just works.

If I tap the back arrow while viewing a library it logs me out. What? Also, I can’t preview any files. Files load very quickly for me, though.

Servers with ports don’t work
I have a server with https on port 4443, I can login etc but cannot download any files. Please fix
No file preview option
Unable to see files. I heard that it used to be able to preview files in browser without downloading files on device for quick file search, now no option either to download all photos to my album.
Needs work
I really like Seafile Pro on desktop systems, but it's a bit lacking on iOS. It needs better integration with the Files app, especiy if you're trying to save files directly from iOS using the share menu into Seafile storage. I'm really looking to Seafile to replace Dropbox and it's like 70% there. Please make updates.

Dark mode please

Dark mode?! Camera roll upload
I have been trying this instead of Nextcloud and have a few pain points hence only 2 stars!
The first is that there is no dark mode! The white is too bright and you can’t set the dark mode. The app doesn’t even follow the server custom CSS.
The other annoyance is the camera roll upload. When you turn it on it starts uploading all my photos! They are already in the folder!! You need option to just start upload of new photos only not whole album. Also, it just dumps them all in a root folder. Would be great to have them upload into mm-yy format.

File Upload?
Atleast it is support in the native iOS Files app but is a let down that the app itself only supports Photo uploads and not documents/files. Couldn’t even find SeaFile Pro in the Share menu either. Only way to upload is through the iOS Files app.
Promising idea but nearly worthless.
I love the simplicity and speed of the Seafile Server on my Linux platform. I also love the Desktop client I am running on Windows to sync things. Unfortunately this Apple app falls way short. Syncing photos to the Server stalls every.single.time the app is no longer active on my phone. The only way to recover is to restart the app. Every combination of settings has failed to remedy this.
This app sits on 2 and 3 star reviews for good reason.
As it is, Seafile is not a solution for syncing iPhone photos. :(

Doesn’t work anymore
Used to love this app and seafile more generally
Recently got logged out and simply can’t log back in? Can’t find anything about my error online, don’t think any server config changed either quite confused and disappointing.

Very good
Nice clean app and it works nicely. Don’t use auto upload so can’t comment on that. Would be nice if the app provided shortcuts in the Apple shortcut app. Could make some nice automation scripts then.
Pretty decent server software, iOS client needs some work.
The server software works excellent with much issue, and is FAST. The problem is, this client has a few issues and needs to be updated. Sometimes syncing glitches and doesn’t work right. I’ve had to reinstall the app and server both because of this. Sometimes I can no longer unlock my encrypted library. Face ID support is there, it just says Touch ID instead. Ultimately as it stands right now, the web app works a bit better at the moment. Hopefully they update the app soon and Seafile can reach its full potential.

Works better than expected but could use a few things.
This app is actually pretty solid. A few things that would make it much better.
1. When a file is marked as available offline, it would be great if those files would appear in a Seafile directory under “on my iPhone”. This would make it significantly easier to work with other apps.
2. Really needs a dark mode. Even better would be if the app could read the colors set in the Seahub custom CSS. This way everyone’s mobile app would match the web UI. Some other apps already do this.

This app needs some major upgrades, the photos do NOT auto upload. Overall the app is just bad in comparison to the desktop clients.
