Seafood Stinky
This is the second time a stinky seafood that I bought. Cook seafood I opened at home it and it smells so bad expired. This time It also smell bad. Seafood workers are bad.

NOT WORKING
I ordered here after I just got out of work at 2am, I’m hoping they would have enough time since I put my pick up time at 12-1pm. At 1:30pm my stuff is not ready for pick up. Had drive down at the store and went to customer service. They never check the app for orders till I ask for mine. Then the lady said can you wait? What’s the point of this if I have to wait for another hour. I could’ve done this myself if I knew this all is a joke.

VERY BAD experience
i asked my friend to buy me the kutsinta in seafood city norwalk Blvd. Cerritos on May 2024, when my friend gave me the kutsinta i was so excited to eat, but when i took my first bite it was so hard like a tikoy and i can not eat that kutsinta , i was so angry because wasting time to go that store, i decided to call that number which i checked in the reciept, you know what they say? she only say sorry and return the kutsinta, then June 24,2024 i asked my friend again to buy me a pork butt in 15 mins. my friend came back to me and gave me that pork, when i open the bag i smell the pork so bad and the color of the pork was so dark, ao i called again to the seafood city store and reported that the pork they sell was already rotten, again she aaked me to return the rotter pork to the store and they will refund the amount, i will never never recommend this seafood city store in norwalk Blvd cerritos to anyone, be careful to buy any items when you go to this store, it was wasting time to buy and returm the item, never mind the amount but wasting time is terrible

System acting up crazy
I tried since 7 :40 am ish to do my order you cannot find anything, I love seafood but you have to improve your system. As soon as I so the time, I chose 10-11 it did not allow me ao I ended up trying for 30 mins only 10 mins I got in for a late time of 11-12 . I love people works in Seafood LA the app is the reason why I don’t order online. I cannot even look for sisig or adobo powder

So inconvenient and worst app, I tried this app today and did my first order, got some missing items due of “ out of stock” it’s okay. But still missing some of the items I paid for, tried to contact them thru the email they provide that needs your email and password but I order as a guess so I don’t have any of those then call the store and keep saying that i need to log in to get access on my order even I have the order# I won’t recommend this app and type of delivery to anyone

App freezes on launch
Pretty horrendous app in terms of UI. Poor contrast, looks outdated, only pictures for half the products. No links to call the store, or get directions to the store via any map app. There’s also no option to save a card on file without placing an order first.
Crappy App - Beware
There is no way to contact support. No phone number to contact support and no way to reverse their charges! I ordered my first delivery with their promo code and when they changed the order because one of the items were missing they reversed the free delivery. I just uninstalled this stupid crappy app never to use it again!

I rarely leave a review on an app! But this one is totally worth it y’all! It was my first time ordering from them and they were very interactive especially when you have a missing order and they’ll let you know if you want to have it replaced! Would definitely order again! Great job you guys!

I have used the app for curbside pickup at the Chicago store twice. I live well outside of the app’s default store radius. I have not used delivery.
Things I love and how the process works
I can get my Filipino food and have my lunch packed and ready to take home when I get to the store.
You can set the app to email or text updates. There is also a status marker in the app. The second time, I even got text messages from a person at the store when my order was ready, and I just texted back my spot number when I parked curbside spots. There are reserved curbside pickup spots directly across from the front of the store.
Order was ready a few minutes before my scheduled pick up window. I live pretty far away, so this was great.
You can order dishes from Grill City and from the seafood counter. Some items let you select if you want them fried or just as a raw ingredient.
You can choose replacements for out of stock items or choose not to replace an item or ask them to pick the best match.
You have an option to tip.
You can add notes for individual items at the end (in the cart). I haven’t tried asking for a custom cut on fish, but if I needed one, I would try adding it there.
Limitations
These do not bother me, but they are important to know, to avoid disappointment.
Not everything in the store is in the app. The basics and then some are here, but it’s not everything. This is, I suspect, to make sure that they can fill orders without overwhelming their staff.
There is a service fee that seems to be 5% for pulling the order and bringing it out to your car. If your state has a bag fee, they charge that as well, but these have been suspended where I live because of the pandemic.
Could be improved but not a deal breaker
The app tries to force you to set your location or use location services. When I do this, it shows me zero stores in my area. It would be smoother if you could pick a default store and set it to your profile. The address pop-up interrupts my shopping. The first time I ordered, it also crashed the app, but this didn’t happen during my second order.
Customer service and what to do if you have a problem
Definitely call the store and/or email the corporate address. I got my order and everything tasted great, but the first time, the number at the Chicago store was disconnected. This was frustrating. Customer service called me back later that same day, and I was pleased with how we were able to deal with things, and that they fixed the problem for everyone, so I gave the app another try the week after, and the whole process worked great.

App is not working at all!!! I can’t even search a store or put in my address! Pls do ANOTHER update! Otherwise....what is this app really for if we can’t even get through searching for a location?
