Checking the App
Is it free?
Not so good
A clunky app that also charges for you to give them information. We find NoForiegnLand gar more user friendly, has greater coverage and is free to use or donation via patreon.
Full time livaboard
They’ll suspend your account if you don’t use the app 🙄😂
Everything you need
This app isn’t just to post your trips it’s designed yo make them better. This app has it all and is so intuitive. Highly recommend to anyone on a boat.
Krasse Verbesserung!

Not Free
I searched for free apps. This came up I looked for, some indication of a price. Nothing showed. After putting in all the info about me they finallily offered subscription pricing. There was not even a free look. Wasted my time!
Great
Perfect way to feel like you are in the loop
Great app!
I found the app while watching Elayna’s IG. I’ve copied all my logs over from navionics, and I have to say I’m loving it! I think the little milestone badges for nm, hours and trips are great. I might not sail as much or as far as I want to yet, but I love feeling like I’m earning little achievements as I go! Loving it so far guys, thank you!

Love this app!
I love this app for connecting with fellow cruisers and just tracking our progress. Fun to share live tracking links with friends and family too! Love looking at other people’s tracks and experiences before heading to a destination. Such an amazing app :)
Fun app, for profit
Like the tracking, wish more features were free
Love it
Love this app - it’s perfect for sailors to connect with on another around the world. Haven’t seen any comparable yet.
Export to GPX is under airplane icon
I thought this app couldn’t export to GPX, but the support team showed me the feature is available per trip, under the airplane icon. Minus one star because there appears to be no way to export multiple trips in batch.
No way to export trip data
This app is happy to import trip data from other logging services and software, but it does not return the courtesy. There is no way to export from SeaPeople so if you track with this app, you will forever be subject to its terms and fees.
Maps not good
Interactive maps not very good. When I zoom out I lose the location of someone I track. Why did you choose Apple Maps and not Google Maps?
Connecting with Kindred Spirits
Love this site as a medium for finding like-minded friends at sea!!!
Well designed
This app helps me build my passion simply by following people’s trips
Response from developer
So happy to hear. Thanks for your kind words. Hope to cross paths out on the water soon.
First SP Review
Been with you for years. FYI … I ordered the cookbook Elayna put together several years ago ! Still have it !
Use Daily
Absolutely love this app for social and information on the water! I use it daily for everything from just chatting with other boaters to major safety things . It’s awesome!
Lake People
I love seeing other people’s adventures on Sea People. Sail a Com-Pac 16 on a lake in Pennsylvania. I crew for a friend on the Chesapeake. I’m hoping to crew for someone in real open sea.
Fabulous!
In a word, just fabulous! Cannot recommend enough how good this app is for anyone even remotely interested in the water.
Response from developer
Thanks so much for the kind words Adam. Hope to cross paths on the water one day soon.
