Krasse Verbesserung!
Seit Version 4.0 gibt es endlich neben Trips auch Ankerpunkte, Marinas und Restaurant-Empfehlungen. Cool finde ich auch, dass die KI die Inhalte Zusammenfasst und Empfehlungen gibt, statt dass man selbst alles raussuchen muss. Aus meiner Sicht gerade für Segler und Boots-Urlauber super. Für Fischer und Taucher fehlen noch ein paar Infos. Hoffe das kommt noch. Aber trotzdem eine absolute Empfehlung!

Not Free
I searched for free apps. This came up I looked for, some indication of a price. Nothing showed. After putting in all the info about me they finallily offered subscription pricing. There was not even a free look. Wasted my time!

I found the app while watching Elayna’s IG. I’ve copied all my logs over from navionics, and I have to say I’m loving it! I think the little milestone badges for nm, hours and trips are great. I might not sail as much or as far as I want to yet, but I love feeling like I’m earning little achievements as I go! Loving it so far guys, thank you!

Love this app!
I love this app for connecting with fellow cruisers and just tracking our progress. Fun to share live tracking links with friends and family too! Love looking at other people’s tracks and experiences before heading to a destination. Such an amazing app :)

Love this app - it’s perfect for sailors to connect with on another around the world. Haven’t seen any comparable yet.
Export to GPX is under airplane icon
I thought this app couldn’t export to GPX, but the support team showed me the feature is available per trip, under the airplane icon. Minus one star because there appears to be no way to export multiple trips in batch.
No way to export trip data
This app is happy to import trip data from other logging services and software, but it does not return the courtesy. There is no way to export from SeaPeople so if you track with this app, you will forever be subject to its terms and fees.
Maps not good
Interactive maps not very good. When I zoom out I lose the location of someone I track. Why did you choose Apple Maps and not Google Maps?

Absolutely love this app for social and information on the water! I use it daily for everything from just chatting with other boaters to major safety things . It’s awesome!

I love seeing other people’s adventures on Sea People. Sail a Com-Pac 16 on a lake in Pennsylvania. I crew for a friend on the Chesapeake. I’m hoping to crew for someone in real open sea.

Great Potential
Great platform but activity is a bit low in 1:1 communication. Would wish there is a life-aboard batch so you can see the difference on the map 😊
