Seat 12A: Your Flight Globe

Seat 12A is a personal flight log. Add the flights you have taken and watch them draw themselves across a 3D globe you can spin, tilt and zoom. It is yours, and it stays yours. Your flight history is free and unlimited — every flight you log, for as long as you keep the app, with no account to create. No advertising. No analytics. Your flights live on your device and, if you want them on more than one, in your own private iCloud — an area of your Apple account that not even the developer can read. ADD A FLIGHT IN SECONDS - Scan a boarding pass — the barcode is read on your device - Import flight reservations already sitting in your calendar - Or just type it: search over 6,000 airports offline A GLOBE, NOT A LIST - Every route drawn as an arc between real airports - Watch a single flight fly its own path, start to finish - Five hand-built globe styles: Night, Daylight, Satellite, Midnight, Ember - Countries you have visited, lit up WHAT IT ADDS UP TO - Distance flown, hours airborne, countries and airports visited - A passport that fills with country stamps as you travel - Achievements worth actually earning — including the distance to the Moon - Your busiest routes, favourite airlines and year-by-year history WORKS ANYWHERE The airport database, the airline marks and the globe itself are all built into the app. It works at 30,000 feet with the Wi-Fi off. PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION There is no server to send your data to, because there isn't one. The camera is used only to scan a boarding pass, on your device. Your calendar is read only on your device, only to find flights. Neither leaves your phone. No paywall around your own history. Not now, not later.
