Paid money not able to use
I am not able to edit students easily or even to delete multiple students simultaneously. Also not able to maneuver seating as desired. Wasted my money

Honestly, I can't even add my students, because idk how!! This app is HORRIBLE
Closest thing to Happy Class
I was massively disappointed when the happy class app disappeared because I used it to make random-but-not-too-random seating charts. This is the next closest thing I’ve found after scouring the internet and for those who are complaining about having to pay $2 to unlock more sections, it’s literally a one time $2 payment as opposed to happy class which charged $15 annually. There was a learning curve to get it to make my seating chart how my room is set up but once I got used to it then it worked great.
I would like to echo the sentiment that it would be nice to be able to make custom seating charts. I love the ability to keep students at the front, separate chatty students, and group by similar or different ability levels. I would also like to see a functionality to keep students that work well together.
Also the app hasn’t been updated in 2 years which is a bit disappointing. It has so much potential!

Not Flexible
App doesn’t allow teacher to freely move students seating around. App doesn’t allow for a variety of number of students in a group. Very disappointed!
How to add students
It doesn’t tell you how to add students does it add automatically or is there no way you can add students

I am a teacher and I use this app every time I move seats. I love this app. I like that you can change the settings to get a Seating chart you’ll be happy with.
Free trial is way to limited
If you want teachers to use this then don’t limit the free trial to 2 classes.
Not good
I am not able to configure the student the way I want. I can on,y do it the way the app wants.
Seating Charts
This app would be really great if there was some more flexibility with layout. I don’t understand why you can’t have a set number of seats and then fill the kids in. He method of moving students is frustrating and it should be drag and drop on the layout. I love the chatty kids and I love that I can track behaviors, but I’m going to have to use another app to set seat charts and this for everything else. Please, make the seating charts more flexible!

My mistake
I thought it keep the participation counts until I do something to delete it, but it doesn’t. I wasted my money on this app. I wish I have read the reviews first. It doesn’t have the flexibility to create uneven seats in different rows. It just doesn’t look right. Also, students’s participation counts get lost on the next day, so it was not easy to keep track for a term grade. Any way, it’s my mistake not to try it longer before buying it.

Can’t use it
I can’t use this app. They have 3 standard seating chart templates. You can’t design your own. Their prefabs don’t fit what I do and there’s no way to customize them. Wasted $2 on upgrade before realizing you can’t do that. My mistake.

I like the chatty student feature and the ability to specify which students need to sit near the front. However, the free version only allows me to input 2 classes. Since I have 7 classes, this doesn't offer enough opportunity to really test its functionality for each of my preps. I just can't make myself pay for it when I can't test it thoroughly. I also don't want to input data for even one class if I potentially have to download a different app anyway.
It is likely worth your money to buy it if you only have 1 prep or a small number of classes.

I'm glad it sounds like the features line up with what you're looking for. Sorry the trial model didn't work out; I wanted to have some way to let you test the full app, without ads, and this seemed like the best way to do it.
Almost great
I like the ability to note chatty students and separate them, and I like that I can easily send a copy of the seating chart to my email for printing.
I like to balance boys and girls at groups, however, so I wish there was a way to note gender and throw that into the mix. Otherwise a good app.

Thanks for the feedback! Like many circumstances, a possible (slightly inelegant) workaround is to label all of the boys (or girls) "chatty", if you're not using this feature, and it will automatically spread them out. I'll consider it as a future feature!
Some good some bad
I really like being able to
Include details like when students need to sit in the front or if they are chatty. However, the seating chart is limited to only rows...not even how many kids per row! This doesn't allow me to make the classroom layout look like my actual classroom so it doesn't help me actually place them. This app would be amazing if you could arrange the desks or spots for the students to go in.

Good app, serious bug
Awesome app. Now while I like it, there is one pretty serious bug in it. Damaging bug, really. However, I feel like I should explain the context first. I am a teacher in a very poor, underprivileged public school district. Seems like whenever you’re in the roster section, and you enter a name that’s longer than 20 letters, the app shortens the name. Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem (for most rich schools that is). After all, students at rich schools often have shorter names. My problem is that I have one student, for example, whose first name is Bartholomew-Cubbinsonian. Even after you type in his whole name into the app, the app only shows “Bartholomew-Cubbinso…”. It’s stuff like this that can really dehumanize a student in the eyes of a teacher. So I find it hard to use this app. Just opening once or twice a day can really negatively alter my perception of my long-named students. Of course, I understand that this isn’t a problem everywhere. However, since this is a poor district, the parents here cannot usually afford to give their children short names. Not only do these children have to deal with society mocking them for their long names, but what if they found out that this app didn’t care for them either? Can I ask that you please change the roster section so that it shows a student’s full name? Every little thing in a young student’s life can affect them positively or negatively, and I don’t want this to be another negative thing. Names are important, and I think your app should treat all names equally, regardless of their size. And after you fix this, please read the first letter of every sentence.
