FIXED: THE APP CLOSING WHEN YOU OPENED A PROFILE If you opened someone's profile you hadn't looked at before, the app could close — including when you tapped a Wingman request, since that always opens a profile you haven't seen. That's fixed. Apologies if it caught you. A BACKUP LIST FOR EVENTS THAT FILL UP Run into a full event? You can now join its backup list instead of hitting a dead end. If someone drops out, the people who have been waiting longest get a notification — first to open the event and join gets the spot. Hosts switch this on per event. "STILL COMING?" The day before an event you are going to, we will ask. Tap "I'm coming" and the host knows to expect you. Tap "Can't make it" and your spot goes to someone else. Nothing happens if you don't answer — we only ask. KNOW WHEN SOMETHING IS ON Get a notification when someone posts a new event near you. It sticks to your search radius by default, so you only hear about things you could actually get to, and you can turn either part off under Settings → Notifications. The Events tab now shows a number when events have been posted since you last looked. It clears the moment you open it. A MAP YOU CAN ACTUALLY READ Event pins used to be a photo in a circle and nothing else. Each one is now a small card with the name, the time and how many people are going, so you can tell what is worth tapping. Anything happening right now is marked in red. Two events at the same venue used to sit exactly on top of each other, and the one underneath could not be opened at all. You can now pick between them. Setting your search location uses the whole screen instead of a small box. SEE WHAT YOU HAVE IN COMMON On someone's profile, the interests you both picked are filled in blue and the rest are dimmed — so you can see at a glance what you would actually have to talk about. ALSO FIXED Event invites and promo emails were showing times in the wrong timezone, so a 7pm event in Bangkok could arrive as "12:00 PM". Emails now show the same local time the app does. Asking to join a private event used to go quiet if the host could not fit you in — the event simply disappeared from your list. You now hear back either way.
