Performance, battery & cool phones • Major rendering overhaul: animated avatar frames and status emoji now share GPU textures, so chat lists stay perfectly smooth even with many premium contacts on screen at once. • Fixed device heating during heavy animations — up to 15× less GPU load on animated pages. • Chat and room lists no longer flicker or re-render every frame. • New switch in Settings → Media & profile to turn off cosmetic animations in lists and chats for maximum battery life. Profiles keep their animations so you never miss a look. Better sharing • Room invite links shared to other apps now open a proper invite page — and launch Secretly directly when it's installed. Previously shared links work again, too. • New "Share room" button right in the room menu — one tap to the native share sheet. Reliability • Group chats: fixed rare cases where messages could be lost while a member stayed offline for a long time — delivery is now durable end-to-end. • Killed phantom "unread" badges that appeared without an actual new message. • No more ghost notifications triggered by your own linked devices. • Purchases now credit reliably, and Restore Purchases fully refreshes your subscription — including across reinstalls. • Smarter recovery when a contact reinstalls the app: conversations heal automatically.
