Eclipse

I have never been so disappointed in any of the games I bought but this one is the most disappointing game I’ve played you can’t really find what you need and when you use hint it tells you there’s nothing in this room what is the point of using hint of it doesn’t help you in anyway and it would be great if it had a map to bad I can’t get another game for what I paid for this

Not what I expected, different from the games.

Lots of fun!

This is an older game, but honestly, except for graphics quality and a few bells and whistles, the older games were better! There is no teleporting map, so if that is a deal breaker, this game is not for you. The story is interesting, the puzzles take some time and thought and there are a lot of them, and they are quite varied. Also lots of HOS, which are all revisited. So much to do, not the usual find amulet, insert amulet, repeat. Although you do that as well lol. The game is very long, and the bonus game is longer than many of today’s main games! The graphics are not as vivid, but the developers put in lots of cool touches, such as leaves blowing by, etc., that make you feel immersed in the game. I experienced no glitches. Real rating 4.5 bumped up to 5 for being a true delight to play!

Eclipse Mountain

With no map, or teleporting, this game was a nightmare to play. It became very difficult to figure out where to go next, and the hints were the worst of any game I have ever played. Found myself, which I hated to do, relying too much on the strategy guide to get me out of clueless spots. I would not recommend the game, and would not buy any other from this developer.

Eclipse Mountain

Excellent game! Love the challenges, music, graphics, mini games and the ever changing rooms.

Won’t save progress!

I have started game three times and it never saves my progress! I am giving up!

Stunning graphics

One of my favorites so far visually! Lots of areas to explore. Loved it!!

Excellent game, with quite different puzzles and storyline. Really good value for deal price. However, a map or teleport would have saved a lot of to-ing and fro-ing, which was a bit tedious, and on my iPad the game froze several times, so I couldn’t give 5 stars. Enjoyable nevertheless.

Right away....

Just setting the game up, I hit the first glitch. I turned the sounds off, but it stayed on. Then it SEEMED to be off, but keeps coming on. I can't get past that because the sound is very annoying. Fix it!

Well, here's an update.

Developers haven't even bothered to read and address the issues people have pointed out in their reviews! I tried it again in Aug. 2016, and it STILL isn't fixed. The sound continues to come on. They haven't bothered to fix the game, but they they still want top dollar for it! Nope!

Update2:
It's now November, 2017, and they STILL haven’t fixed it! Why would I PAY for something that's defective, even if it IS on sale? Duh!

👏👏👏

Loved it!!! Nice change from the same old plots. Game played well on my iPad. Hidden Object Scenes were lists or placement into the scene. Graphics were clear and colorful. Great change of pace. Not much running all over the map (that's good not one) so was pretty easy to know where to go next. I usually get bored with most games and usually quit before the end of the game. Looking forward to perhaps finishing this one. 👍👍👍

THIS IS A GOOD GAME WOULD HAVE GIVEN IT A RATING OF FIVE,EXCEPT GETTING FROM ONE LOCATION TO ANOTHER TAKES TO LONG GREAT IF IT HAD A MAP.

Totally Agree with First Review

It was a pleasant and peaceful game, and I enjoyed it once it finally booted up. A little frustrating not having a map, or that the Hint only told you that there was nothing to do in the scene. No other clue. Some games were fun, but others went on and on with no resolution in sight. I skipped more games than I finished out of frustration.

The Bonus Game was a let down. After it finally booted up and getting to the second scene and back to the fist, every touch of the screen would kick you out completely to my home screen. Therefore, having to reboot and watch the elephant walking for a few minutes. Why I kept trying over and over beats me. Same outcome each time.

Needless to say, needs tweaks and work to improve. Let me know when you get it fixed so I can finish.

CRASHES 😡😡😡

This looks like it might be a decent game but it's hard to tell since it crashes every time I interact with anything.

Beautiful and inventive

A lot of detail has been put into this games. The answers aren't easily given, each game is slightly different and the setting in Thailand is wonderful!

challenging enough

Challenging enough for adult, great graphisms and originals ideas. thank you.

Eclipse

Had to re-load after a crash, but actually a very good game, and one that makes you think! I like the fact that the hint doesn't tell you exactly where to go next - you have to work out your next move! Clever! Have not yet finished the game, but really enjoying it!

Eclpise mountain

A good game, nice graphics and beautiful scenery., easy to follow the flow of the story....like the changing rooms too, a nice touch ..and the HO games, a few new tricks..nice! Not having teleport in this game not so bad, as seems not that many locations, and got to be fun trying to remember how to get from place to place.
Now the bad part: as others have said, crashes often...probably had to restart the game 15 times or more. It went back to where I left off, so that at least was good..
Mini games: some would just not work well, and frustrated, I skipped more than I wanted to; trying to move the little marble so the bad glowing marbles don't get yours....and your marble won't move no matter how many ways you try to move it,,,and down it goes..FRUSTRATING!. For myself, There were a few games like that: objects would not move easily,,,,sticky like,,,so it was difficult to work it out and complete the game. Maybe that is just me or my iPad...don't know.
I too was annoyed with the "solve the puzzle" bit, ,then finally noticed another button said ."instructions" ...and there were good instructions.
I tried to use the guide twice, ...would not go there, just crashed.,
So..I liked the game a lot, but some improvements would help,,,,,thanks😊

Enjoyable game

I don't usually right reviews but I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Yes there are issues and the game did crash, quite a bit, but i got straight back in where I left off.
The story was good and the graphics, music and atmosphere was great. I like the fact you can choose whether you have sparkles etc as I sometimes find it can "dumb it down" a bit. I love the idea of changing the light to give a different scene in rooms, it's somethings different to other games. There are a wide variety of puzzles ranging in difficulty. One downside was there isn't a map.

Dragged on a bit

Graphics were excellent. Puzzles pretty decent. Explanations made sense. The only complaint was the game went around in too many circles through the same screens. It became tedious and a bit boring. After a while I got fed up and used the strategy guide trying to find the right rooms again because there were so many embedded scenes. Otherwise everything else was right.

Secrets in the Dark: Eclipse Mountain by LynxMinx

This SHOULD have been a 5 star game, but unfortunately for a couple of issues, I am deducting a couple of stars. First let's focus on the positive aspects. The story was interesting. The graphics were magnificent, and the cut-scenes were mesmerizing. There was a helpful journal. The HO scenes were mostly word lists, or returning things to their proper places, and then you had to get the final item. Inventory was labeled, but no plus items to assemble. In certain locations you could change the illumination, and thus time travel in order to gain more inventory. So that facet was very interesting. Also there were certain magical artifacts that could be transformed by giving them to stone statues with the proper symbol. Loading was instantaneous between locations. The game was very long and had a lengthy bonus adventure. The puzzles/mini-games were numerous, but a lot were rotational (not my favorite.) There were no collectibles, which was just fine with me! I hate distractions.
Orneon, I deducted the stars for the following reasons: firstly the game kept shutting down. I never lost progress and was able to complete it, but the glitches were annoying! Secondly, there was NO MAP, TELEPORT or otherwise. This game really needed it! For those of us who are lazy, it was a ton of running back and forth. The hint system only said to search elsewhere. With all of these sophisticated games, why wasn't this game better tested and why was there no map?
At least you didn't torture me with RATS, but I am not going to add a star for that! Truthfully most of the Dream Team will be annoyed without the map. It's too bad, because the game itself was really good! It was also beautiful! BigFish, please do not give us games without marked teleport maps! Most of us are lazy and hate running back and forth!
Lynxie sends love to Dracyy, KimT, Snooper and the rest of the team! ❤️💋😘
