Sync just doesn’t work

Added a new login on my Mac at home a couple days ago. Tried to login into that site this evening from my phone and it hasn’t synced. Ever since paying for this app, sync has been unreliable at best. Sometimes it works, often times it doesn’t. If I delete my backup and then re-sync, usually that will force it, otherwise, it rarely works as one would think.

Love this app

After five years, still loving secrets. It’s indispensable. I love that it syncs via iCloud and I love that it uses FaceID and that it’s encrypted. And that it’s a one time purchase not a subscription. I have the Mac version too and it syncs great between them.

I have had this app for more than two years. I migrated from 1PW when they started doing the subscription thing which I didn’t agree with. I love that you can buy this one with a one-time payment. Secrets is simple and it does all I need a password app to do. Thanks to the developer for such a useful app. It sits on my dock on all my devices. I have the Mac version as well and the iCloud syncing is super awesome. I use this app several times a day. A real life-saver. Highly recommended!

More folder ( tab) options.

Would love to have more flexibility in tabs / folder like to have group or SUBFOLDER option. And if I could choose icon picture from web search ( Google) it could be perfect.

Best in class, full of features

This app is easy to use. It's got outstanding featureset too. Almost feels too good to be true. Password history, browser breadth, and 'buy once' pricing are all great! My favorite thing is the 'smart filters' (saved searches) functionality, which is 'key' for keeping one's database tidy. Developer is friendly and responsive. App is best in class!

Secrets is great on Mac and iPhone

Secrets is a great password manager for iOS and macOS. And thank you for offering it as a one time purchase. Looking forward to future updates.

Apple Watch!!!

Need the apple watch version!!!!!!!!!

Love this product but encountered bug! (4.5/5)

I first discovered this App when I started using Setapp (Netflix for MacOS apps definitely check out) and immediately started using this for my password manager. One bug I encountered was when adding the “Copy Password” shortcut, it was unable to complete the action and said an unknown error occurred. I’m on iOS 14.2 with app version 3.4.3. If the shortcuts functionality was working this would definitely get 5 stars!

Excellent alternative to 1Password

Let’s you store your own encrypted database in iCloud. Awesome. Only thing that’s missing is it isn’t open source so it can’t be audited.

Tried them all. This is the best.

I had a password app that worked till it didn’t. Their customer service was arrogant at best. I tried other applications, paid for them, and then deleted them. Secrets is well designed and intuitive. I don’t bother with their categories. I use the login.

10 password maximum

Having a ten password maximum for the free version is unrealistic and is just baiting you to get money, especially when competitors with similar security levels have 50 for free. What is essentially apple notes (which you can password protect) should not cost $20.

Pricing is conflicted

In one place it says it’s $19.99 and another place says it’s $9.99. Both are a little high for a password manager.

So useful

I have been using Secrets for over a year now and my passwords sync across all of my devices and it makes it ever so easy to keep up with the numerous passwords I have. To add, I love the option of randomizing passwords which are extremely hard to hack. Also, I had a small issue with the version on my iMac and support was quick to help. Sometimes you have to wait for a long time but they were prompt. My partner has started using it and is in love with it too.

Great App

I cannot say enough about this app. Simple and easy to use, plus it has yet to require a monthly subscription fee, but rather a one-time, please do not change!

Needs custom fields and icons

I like the simplicity of this app, but it needs the ability to add custom fields to logins such as email address, recovery keys, or authentication questions. Also, it would be nice to add custom icons in case I want to give all my logins the right app logo.

Icons

Doesn’t even have icons or logos for the passwords stored.

UI looked clean but what’s the point if you don’t even have icons.

Good Team

I had issues with the deleting and emailed them. Next couple days got a response they are gonna fix it. Couple days later an update came out and fixed my issues. I have no complaints. Good Support Team.

DONT FORGET YOUR PASSPHRASE

I really wish I knew this before buying and storing my whole life on here. It's great for my work and for home use. I had it set up for Touch ID which is fantastic but I can't for the life of my remember my passphrase on this app. I accidentally turned off the Touch ID and now I can't get login. I've tried resetting it but nothing will work unless I put in the correct passphrase. I've lost all my passwords because I relied too heavily on it.

Great App- No Subscription

It's a password manager...so, it does what it says. Has a great interface- haven't had any issues. Twitter customer support is very polite, helpful, and prompt. I love this app because there are no subscriptions and after talking to Outer Corner, thus far, there are no plans for a subscription service. I hate that I have to spend $20 for the iOS & Mac version, but I'd rather pay that one time, then having to pay every month. Buy the app(s), its worth it in comparison to the others.

Suggestions to developers:

1) if it's possible, in the future, that there becomes a way to sync across devices.

2) if there comes a time that a subscription service is what Outer Corner goes with; the people who bought the app in full before the subscription service should be able to keep all premium services indefinitely and only new customers should be mandated to a subscription service.

Simple!

This app so so easy to use, it's minimal and beautiful. It gives you so many options for what you want to save i.e. Login, Credit Card, Serial Keys, etc. it even has a password generator with many options! This is seriously such a useful app. Thank you dev.

It's bad.

The algorithm is weak and passwords are looking all the same.
