Apparently not Frigate
I downloaded this thinking it was the official Frigate NVR app, and didn’t realize it wasn’t until the name changed in May 2026. It works good enough that I assumed it was the real deal but was a bit concerned that I got tricked. I’ll have to be more careful in the future, but glad I found it nonetheless the less.

Unable to get FCM notifications working
I have been trying for a while to get FCM notifications working but with no luck. All I get is the error message “Failed to sync FCM token: DioException [bad response]: null
Error: Update FCM token failed: 405”. Perhaps I’m missing something server side? I really like this app so far but notifications are a requirement for me.

Thank you for your feedback. FCM notifications require the Securex Nvr Push Relay setup on your Frigate server. Please follow the setup guide here: https://tynvr.147lab.com/#firebase After setup, restart Frigate and use the test button to verify notifications.
