SEE-App

Sexual exploitation is a prevalent youth issue that includes consent, sextortion, human trafficking and online grooming. With shame preventing youth from coming forward, and adults feeling unequipped to discuss such a complex topic, the SEE App is the first ever tool to facilitate these important discussions in a confidential and private manner, and then connect youth directly with resources. Developed by Sexual Exploitation Education, the SEE App guides youth in reading quizzes on the different types of sexual exploitation, learning through engaging content, goal setting to prevent vulnerability factors, and directly accessing Canadian resources. When youth read our quizzes, they can then click on the "learn more" button to be directed to information about that specific topic. When youth are learning about topics and engaging with our materials, they can click the "get help" button to be directed to the specific Canadian resource for their issue. We are proud to be the first ever app in the prevention of sexual exploitation!
