Great video magnifier app for someone that is visually impaired
Doesn’t Do Squat!
I downloaded this app only to see a black screen and no functionality. Other reviewers stated is was a game changer;however, I am at a loss since it doesn’t work. My cat makes better apps!

A Gift For The Visually Impaired
See It has made it possible to read menus and documents, inspect my pedicure, and see so many things that were giving me difficulty. I showed it to my retina specialist, and now he tells all his visually impaired patients about it! He thanked me for sharing the information when his patients reported back how much they love the app too! I especially appreciate the ability to turn on the flashlight at the same time I’m using magnification in a dark restaurant! Now I can enjoy an evening out with family and friends without having to ask someone to read the menu to me. It means the world to me to have this app! Independence is everything! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Don't buy until this is fixed - buffering issue? not working
I loved this app after buying it in 2014. The $20 was worth every penny for the amount of help it was to me in my daily life tasks. I am legally blind so I used this for reading small print, overhead menus at fast food places, threading needles, you name it - whenever I needed to "see" something better.
I wrote to the company in April of 2015 because the slider bar (the ability to zoom) had dissapeared and they said it would be fixed in 2 weeks. It took quite a bit longer than 2 weeks to fix but I was really glad to have it back. In late July, it started shutting down intermittently and/or getting stuck in a rebuffering loop. It hasn't functioned since then and I'll be sending another note to Studio Bebop.
If it gets fixed, I'll revise my rating on the app and add an addendum to my review. I love the APP but I hate not being able to use it.

Buffering issue
Initially when I bought this, I had no problems with it. The past month or more though I can't use it due to an opening buffering problem. Please fix this.

I want my money back. I was supposed to have received an update to make the app easier to use on the iPhone 6. Instead the app has to be continuously restarted because it buff so terribly..

This app will not even launch. Having paid over £14 I feel I have been ripped off. What a con!
Hard to change manification slider.
The only problem with this app is that I can't always move the magnification slider with my finger. A stylus works better but it doesn't always work either. Otherwise this is a lifechanger. Was able to use it at an art museum to enjoy works that I wouldn't otherwise have been able to see (macular degeneration). Going to be using VisionAssist as well which has bigger controls. Using on iPad mini.

Works great on AppleTV
I finally found a magnifier app that displays true landscape mode when I use AppleTV and "mirroring" (AirPlay) -- with this "See It" app, I can use my phone + TV like a real CCTV. Yay!!!
Before buying the app, I contacted the developer to ask about the landscape feature, and the developer responded to my question after only a few hours, so I decided to spend the $20 and ... IT WORKS GREAT!!

I like it
The app works well but you have to have a steady hand. It can be hard to keep the phone still enough for the camera to focus. For the price versus paying $500 for a handheld Digital magnifier it's definitely worth it.

We are very impressed with this app and its magnification. We use it with airplay on Apple TV to view on HDMI TV. Thank you for designing this app.

It is going to be great to not have to take magnifiers with me. On the iPhone I can use it in the grocery store to read labels. At home I can use it on my iPad to read newspapers and magazines. This is a great app!!! I will share the information with my vision impaired friends. Thank you!.

Works well. The first screen doesn't work with voiceover but fine with voice over once you get passed the set up screen.
Magnifies about 5 to 10 times larger
Good for most low vision users that may not work in terms of magnification if you require very huge prints

I am so disappointed by this app considering iI just paid £4 !!!
I volunteer for a blind association in the UK and am visually impaired myself.
I purchase 'accessible' apps for iPad and iPhone to try out first and then recommend to my customers.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this app to anyone in its current state - especially at £4, this is VERY expensive for an App that just doesn't work. Yes the dedicated electronic magnifiers are expensive - but at least they work.
It is so full of bugs its breathtaking. Where do I start?
By the way I have tested this on my iPhone 5:

In portrait mode you get an accurate portrait image - great
But
most of us use landscape mode. On most occasions when you rotate the screen to landscape a third of the screen turns black and the picture is limited and still at 90 degrees to the horizontal view.
When the screen does flip to landscape view you can see it flip BUT you still end up with a portrait view (ie 90 degrees to what the view should be) - very weird
The flash just blanks everything out - even at 12 inches away.
It is really difficult to focus the image to be able to read text
The colour contrast options have poor definition.
This is sooooo bas I wish I could upload screen shots.

Great
I have a dedicated video magnifier, it's bulky and heavy, also the screen is grainy. It was nearly a thousand pounds so I'm really shocked by how well this app works. I know we are becoming used to free apps but sometimes you need to buy quality and this is worth so much more than it costs. The ability to have a video magnifier in my pocket will, for me, be a life changing thing allowing independence from sighted people. Thank you to the developer.
