Plus, the teacher’s app allows teachers to collect data to track progress, identify struggles and add support where needed. LEARN-TO-READ APP See Words: School provides 14 pre-programmed lessons covering the fundamental sounds needed in the correct order to learn to read. In level 1, students start with tracing letters and saying the sounds. Students can hear their own voice shared back to them. This allows them to hear the common sounds. In level 2, readers build words using word families and the sounds they learned in the first level. This interactive practice reinforces what they just learned. In level 3 of this reading app, your student will spell words with sound tiles. Tapping the sound tiles reveals the picture hints that they first saw and heard in level 1. In level 4, a story is read aloud to your pre-k or kindergarten student as the print is highlighted. The student is able to follow along with the words of the story. Your student is then prompted to interact with the story by touching the letters that correspond to a spoken phoneme or letter sound.
