Update the app
The app is extremely basic, it should have an updated version, it’s been 8 years since the release. The camera do the work, but the app it should complemented.
App barely works
This app is… pretty terrible. If you don’t force close the app it will crash the next time you open it. It won’t download any more than 7 images from the camera. When it does download images from the camera the thumbnails are wrong. Honestly really considering returning this camera since the wifi is touted as being such a big feature…

Does not connect to the app at all

This review has been edited after contacting seek support and performing troubleshooting steps.
This application hasn’t been updated in 4 years and I imagine since then Apple has added the ability for apps to use cellular connectivity when Wi-Fi does not have an internet connection.
So this app does absolutely nothing without turning off two settings on your phone.
First, I updated the firmware of my camera to the latest version.
Then I performed the following steps as directed by the support team at Seek.
1. went into my phone’s settings and turned off cellular data for SeekView.
2. Disabled wi-fi assist inside settings > cellular.
After these steps when I connected to the SeekView Wi-Fi and first launched the app, it told me that cellular data is turned off. Instead of going to settings, I clicked OK. The app crashed at first, but on relaunch, there was no prompt and the live view and photo download were working.
However, I was still unable to download an mp4 file shot on the camera. Attempting to view that file caused the app to crash. So the app definitely has some rough edges, but it works.

Can upload photos to IPhone via Wi-Fi currently.

Not working with iPhone 12 Mini
Can‘t establish a connection between the Seek ShotPro and the iPhone via the app. Very poor…
4 years old, and Seek still hasn’t fixed it
While connected to the camera, it frequently loses the connection and causes the camera to freeze, requiring a hard reset. Despite being full of bugs, the app and the firmware haven’t been updated in years.

Приложение работает, но крайне не удобное. Никаких сбоев при повторном подключении к iPhone не наблюдается.

Bugs and doesn’t connect
The seek shot pro is a good camera, but this software is horrid! The iPhone finds the camera and connects via WiFi, but the software can’t livestream or transfer pics….get it together guys.
Make it open source
It would be nice to make this app open source, and let users contribute. I personally would be happy to take a part.
Disappointing Experience
Not only did Seek Shot lockup, with latest firmware, but it also will not download the videos via wifi. The report tools are lacking too.
A side comment, you give us a logo feature in reports but it’s this tiny little thing in the header. Then the lower half of page is just empty. Why so much useless white space?

Падает и глючит
Классная идея. Сейчас одни глюки. Новый отчёт приходится делать через удаление и новую установку. Уважаемые разработчики, доделайте до работоспособной версии, плиз.

I just downloaded it and have no idea what to do. It wouldn’t let me download the pictures to it and would have a black screen when I try to use the live camera

Non funziona assolutamente con iphone xr e va in crash sia la termocamera che l’applicazione..non e’ possibile trasferire foto dalla camera all’applicazione..gia cambiate in garanzia 2 termocamere ma il problema e’ propio il software che non funziona..
This app does not work
Either the app or the Seek Shot Pro camera (with up to date OS) does not work. I can make no connection between the app and the camera unless the phone is set to airplane mode. And even then, the app does not show any photos in the library. Sometimes, live view works briefly and then the camera locks up. Sometimes live view doesn’t work at all. This is completely useless. Do not buy a Seek Shot Pro with the expectation that you will have iPhone connectivity. It simply doesn’t work. Tech support was very slow to reply and, ultimately, not able to help.
