About

Until the day comes, no one can read this letter. On the future date you choose, it opens quietly — inside the other person's iPhone. SeeYouSomeday lets you write a letter addressed to a future date, and on that day it opens inside the recipient's iPhone. That is all it does. There are no flashy features. There is only this: the words you want to say now, kept safe until the very day they should arrive. ■ Letters you might write - To your daughter or son. A letter they open on the morning of their wedding, between getting ready. The "congratulations" and "thank you for being born" you may be too shy to say that day — you can hand them over years in advance. - To your grandchild. Coming of age, their wedding day, the day they first become a parent. Even if you can't be beside them on those days, you can prepare a letter for each milestone now, one by one — with photos, and with your voice. - To your husband or wife. One letter to open on each wedding anniversary ahead. Even if one day they spend that anniversary alone, your words, unchanged, will reach them that morning. - To your family. For the day you can no longer be together. The "thank you" you never managed to say face to face, left in your own voice — as an end-of-life letter. ■ Why it cannot disappear, even decades from now Your letter is never left in some company's keeping. Once sealed, it passes straight from your iPhone to theirs and waits for its day inside the recipient's iPhone. No service shutting down can ever take it away. That is why you can choose a date decades ahead — the letter stays in the hands of the two of you, the whole time. ■ Sealed until the day Each letter is protected so that only the addressee's iPhone can receive it. Hand it to the wrong person by mistake, and the contents stay unreadable. Even the recipient cannot read it early. When the day arrives, a notification appears; after Face ID or a passcode, the letter finally opens. ■ What you can do - Text, photos, voice recordings, and video, all in one letter - Start writing to someone with just their name - Hand it over in person when they're next to you - Send it via WhatsApp, LINE, email, and more when you're apart - See what you gave to whom anytime in "Letters I Wrote" - Rewrite after sealing, and hand over the new version - Save opened letters in standard formats (text, photo, audio, video) - Opening dates that cannot be faked later, verified against internet time ■ Available in 14 languages The app's screens follow your iPhone's language setting automatically. Even if the sender's and the recipient's iPhones use different languages, letters can be exchanged as usual — so you can send them to family and friends abroad. - Your letter arrives in the words you wrote (it is not translated) - In Arabic, screens are laid out from right to left Supported languages: English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), Korean, Hindi, Indonesian, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Turkish, Arabic ■ Pricing Free, you can write up to three letters (100 characters and one photo each). Pro (a one-time $4.99) removes the limit: up to 10,000 characters, as many photos as fit in the letter, and up to 3 minutes of voice and 90 seconds of video in total. Receiving and opening letters is always free, for everyone. One important note: letters in this app carry no legal force as a will. For anything that needs a formal procedure, please use the proper means. Keep this space for the feelings you want to put into words.
