WHY SELAH
Most meditation apps borrow from Eastern traditions. SELAH is built on the Christian practice of meditating on scripture — turning a verse over in your heart, listening to it read aloud, dwelling on it. The interface is intentionally quiet: no streaks, no badges, no social feed. Just you and the word of God.
The name "Selah" appears 74 times in the Psalms — a Hebrew musical interlude meaning to pause, to lift up, to reflect. That's the posture this app is built for.
