Worthless App!
I tried to find whether an Endodontics practice was covered by Select Health - the app doesn’t even recognize the specialty name! I even tried being more general and put in “Dentist”, but it only gave me Oral & Maxillary Surgeons! Worthless!! I believe this app was created so that Select Health could say they have an app, regardless of it not being of any use.

Can’t even pay my bill via the app, it says there is a URL error. I have to go on the website via a computer. TRASH app. -5/5 stars
Won’t show ID card
I installed this app for the sole purpose of showing my ID Card.
And, apparently, after another year, it still can’t do that. Error: “Your ID Card is not currently available. Please contact Member Services.”
I contacted Member Services and they suggested:
1. Reinstall the app.
2. Try downloading ID Card from web first then see if it works in app.
Neither works.

Awful Experience
The app has had some improvements over the years but currently if frustrating to open the app if I need to look at my ID card, but have to wait 30 seconds to a minute or more for the app to load claims. Why wait when that information is not what I’m looking for. Can’t that happen in the background and only spin and freeze the app if I go to see my claims? Next issue isn’t really the app but our experience working with SH over the last few years has been atrocious. We hit our out of pocket and then claims get shuffled around and then we owe money and then its shuffled some more and we are owed a refund. Currently we have a claim from Oct 2025 that is still pending processing. I had another bad experience getting a very routine and covered blood draw claim paid correctly where it took months and months of me hounding them. Each time the person said they found and fixed the issue and to wait a month for it to be resolved, and then each time it was messed up still. This took a lot of phone calls to get resolved. On the topic of phone calls whenever we have questions or problems the friendly staff often are not able to figure it out but promise to escalate or work with others to better understand the issues and then they promise to call me back and with the exception of one time, they never follow through, and I have to call back days after they said they’d call me. We are beyond frustrated with our experiences with SH and hope that things can improve and we hope others don’t have the same sad experience we seem to have consistently.

Horribly Slow Buggy App
This is a very poorly executed app. Maybe they don’t even have a QA team? Their website is just as bad. Slow. Errors out. Won’t load. Horrendous. No user interface should be this bad in the year 2026.
Garbage App
This is not about my care or doctor or insurance. The app is utter garbage. Just a glorified browser container and just makes it more useless and difficult to navigate. Just direct people to the website and save us thinking you spent any time developing this.
Useless Piece of iSh!
This app is poorly designed and largely useless. Many buttons and features redirect you outside the app, making it feel unorganized and lacking enough useful information to justify its existence. Making payments and managing auto pay in the app is f'n useless. It didn't work, but don't worry, they have a website, WHERE IT DOESN'T WORK EITHER!

The health and fitness tracking for the rewards program is overly complicated and frustrating. If it were simpler and more intuitive, more people would actually participate.
To improve, consider linking the app to health apps and device data to automatically track activity. Additionally, you could allow users to save locations like gyms and reward them for staying active at those spots for at least 20 minutes.
I haven’t used this app in over a year and can’t think of a reason to keep it installed.

Next to AI
Being one of the oldest generations to adapt to AI technology, anything having to do with computers I sincerely appreciate the efforts in making a seniors abilities to use the internet and iPhones simple. Select Health makes every effort to create a site for everyone to breeze through.
Yikes, it’s 2026 people
This app is so clunky! It continually loads, has errors, says things can’t be found, and just generally feels dated. I’m surprised that a large insurance company hasn’t done more to bring their tech up to speed.
Worthless and buggy
Constantly loads. Information is incomplete and inaccurate. Not even worth using.

App will continuously show loading when trying to use it.
Takes forever to load
This app has serious issues this year! When I log in, it just spins and spins and takes forever to load. When it finally stops, it spins and spins again when I choose a new option. It is MUCH worse this year than last year, but the old app from a few years ago was much better. This is not a positive change.

Doesn’t work.
I’ve had this app for years and it has never improved, even with updates. It’s full of glitches and features that don’t actually work.
New app is worse
The additions to this new app makes it worse than the old app. It’s not user friendly. The claims part of the app lists claims that have come in, but lists them in multiple ways. Which makes one think that they have 3 bills which are actually the same one listed multiple different ways.

First off, the API calls are slow. Takes too long before I can use the app. Why do I have to wait for my claims to load before I can use the app? When there’s an emergency like I had last week, the wait time is frustrating.
Second, the Find Urgent Care feature does NOT work. I get a generic error message saying to check my internet connection when I am connected and I have location services enabled. This was the last straw for me last week during an emergency I had. I consider this a high priority bug for users who rely on your app. I give an update on this in a month whether or not it’s fixed.

Select health app
I love using the select health app. I can see all of my medical bills all in one place. I can also pay my premiums on the app every month.
Nothing works!
It continuously loads. I can’t find care when I need it. Fix your app. We rely on it.
Garbage app
I was excited when my employer switched insurance to Select Health, but this app is awful. I can’t get any prescription prices to load, I can’t access the virtual care page, and everything takes forever to load. Do better!
App crashes after Face ID login
Anyone else experiencing this? Every time I open the app and enter through Face ID the app freezes and crashes. Hoping a fix is provided soon! Thanks.
