I misunderstood…..

I bought because I read this; “Download “Selfie Time” and click the “Get Shortcut” button. Then, to activate it – just say “Hey Siri, selfie time.” It automatically opens the front-facing camera and will start a countdown from “3” before it takes the pic. The first time you use this, it asks your permission to save to your Photos app.” DID NOT WORK and requires two phones!

UPDATE-review I had read was not for this app, therefore don’t want to leave a negative review for this. I was corrected by the Developer.

Response from developer

Hello, the description you provided is from different vendor, our app has no relation to that tool. Indeed to use our app two devices are required.

Feature lost?

I used to love this app to use my iPhone main back camera while being able to frame myself using my iPad. I would use a Bluetooth remote which used to work perfectly. For some reason this now no longer works with this app? The remote works with the native iOS camera app so not sure if this is an iOS bug or app bug now

This app takes almost $1000 worth of tech and reduces it to a $10 web cam.

This app seams to only be set up to work well with still photos.

Does not allow access to pano, slow mo, time lapse, or square photo modes.

Does not allow touch for light exposure settings.

While shooting video the live view is choppy and almost a full second delay from real time.

Video does not automatically transfer to the viewer device like photos do.

Video recordings are choppy and are not synced with audio.

I’m using a 2018 iPad with a iPhone 6.

The results are the same no matter which device is the viewer or capturer.

Response from developer

Hello, thanks for your feedback and sorry for those issues. We don’t transfer videos because even short video may be quite big in size. The live preview speed depends on iOS connection between your devices, it’s usually better on Wi-Fi. Video recording itself occurs on master device only. You may actually close the app on viewing device and open again when ready to stop recording (to release some CPU power if this affects audio sync). We plan to add some camera controls (light/focus) in future updates. Feel free to contact us via feedback form if you have other questions. Thanks!

Horrible

It doesn’t work, wasted my money

Response from developer

Hello, could you please contact us and provide more details about what’s not working for you. Thanks!

Works well

Hard to believe it's free and ad free. Would like to see a flash feature instead of just activating a torch and an option to zoom in and out.

Selfie heaven

I'm was very surprised at how the developer managed to get such a great camera app in such a small file size.

Setup is easy all you do is turn on wifi or Bluetooth and the devices auto link themselves.

As a bonus you can turn the flash on the camera remotely.

I would like a big button mode on the remote device so I don't have to make sure I'm pressing the camera button on the app to take a picture as that can be a fumble when you are trying to pose for a picture.
