Figured out connection problem.
Before connecting. Turn off your cellular data. (Cellular off) then turn drone on. Go to wifi. Click on drones wifi., open app. Hit start. It will work as long as cellular is off. Wifi only....
No way to connect WiFi
Sadly, many reviews are CORRECT. There doesn’t seem be a way to connect to WiFi following all directions provided.

Useless App
This app is useless propaganda for a drone announced over three years ago but never shipped. I have an app now, but no drone! Ship the drones and stop updating the useless app!

Small and Fun!
This little drone is a blast. Connecting to the drone is easy. I recommend turning off cellular data for iPhones, then connect to the drones Wi-Fi. After that, we are off and flying!!!
Doesn’t connect
Years of waiting for a piece of crap. This is my first supporting a kickstarter and will be my last.

I cannot confirm previous app comments because I cannot get the drone to power on for more than 2 seconds to attempt a connection.
Issues connecting
Won’t connect to my phone. Will just spin for long durations trying to connect. If it ever does it just ask to restart both drone and app. Really disappointed

All updates done ... but app doesn’t connect to device even when WiFi shows connected to “SELFLY” network. After a wait of 2 yrs such a crappy product.
Can’t connect even with WiFi
Same as above user experience! Not able to connect even with WiFi and the few times it does connect it won’t launch at all and asks for reboot! Has to be a software issue. Please fix! I have two and both won’t launch even in the rare times I can see the camera and it connects for a few seconds.

Garbage
As long as it took to receive this product, especially working with developer AEE, there is no reason this shouldn’t work out of box. Will not connect in any way, regardless of wifi. Pretty disappointed.
Horrible
Update everything... Battery life is awful charging takes way too long. Drone nor app calibrates, I tell the drone to go up and it rises I drops, I tell it to go forward it moves back. Awful programming, stop with cheap code
WiFi - found work around
Same here! I followed the instructions as suggested and performed some troubleshooting, but WiFi does not connect. Other devices I own that use WiFi have not had a problem at all.
However!
If you place your iPhone (iOS) on “Airplane Mode” then turn On WiFi, it will work as expected.
Developer may need to Update App and/or Firmware for device.

App does not connect to the drone. Just says "Connecting..." and never does. SAD!

Besides not receiving the extra propellers and charging station with the unit, the “follow Me” function I bought it for is nowhere to be found. The pics and vids are grainy and unstable and the drone is not very responsive to the controls. Battery lasts about a minute and a half. Waited 3+ years for this. I hope a software update helps with some of this. Smh.

This App still have bugs & can’t connect to drone
Unable to connect to selfly drone after I connected to the Wifi successfully. Sometimes I could see the camera but an error needs to reboot the app and the drone to be able to lift off. Please update the app or how to update the firmware of the drone.
