Classic game
Played this for years. It never gets old and is a great way to keep your brain healthy . Nothing intrusive , play at your own pace . It can be actually very zen and relaxing, or complete against your friends to see who gets it first. Love this game🥰

Fun game but the app needs some fixing
I love playing the game but noticed semantle junior never loads anymore. It just has a loading symbol that spins and spins. Looking at when the app was last updated, it was 2 years ago. Developers, can you please fix this issue? It seems like other reviewers have ran into it as well.
Won’t tell you the answer
1) If after 15-20 minutes if you want to give up and see what the answer is…..you can’t. They’ve removed the ability to see the answer. You have to wait until the next day.
2) the “Hint” feature does not work. On the website when you choose “hint “it gives you a word better than your best guess. On this app, it’s random and often times much worse than your best guess

Love the web version so decided to get the app version. I play semantle junior. Only i cant play as all i get is the wheel of death. It never loads.

Great when it works
Good game, sometimes can be confusing and frustrating but that’s part of the fun imo. Would be five stars but it’s buggy and won’t always load, especially the junior version.
A Brilliant Game
This is such a fascinating, addictive game. Got me off drugs.
Frustratingly random
The word relevance rating system/algorithm seems nonsensical, and often performs poorly. After discovering a correct answer word, when I then apply apt synonyms and topically related words, they typically score far lower than unrelated words, including those the game generated as Hints. Contexto is a similar game with better word relevance measures and Hint system.

App Freezes
The app no longer works and freezes once you click play.
App has never loaded passed the main screen

Done and Gone
This game very entertaining and loved to play throughout the day. Unfortunately it seems the developers have stopped maintaining the app and it is now completely unplayable. I tried writing to troubleshoot the issue and no resolve. Don’t waste your time with this, once wonderful, app.

Won’t load at all
I have a new phone I’m downloading games, this game won’t load AT ALL. I tried to wait for five minutes or close the app and try again but absolutely nothing worked
App stopped working properly
For some reason, the puzzle no longer loads. It’s just stuck in a constant state of loading. So the app is useless until that’s fixed. I’ve tried all the standard troubleshooting methods with no success. Will just have to play via Safari instead.

Challenging
I play this game every morning and find it very challenging compared to other word games. It feels great when I see the 100% pop up and know I’ve finally figured out the word! If you want a game that will make you think….this is the one:)
Entertainingly Frustrating
It’s a great word-guessing game based not on spelling but on semantics/connotations instead. PS, I found that when you input ‘party’ it shoots confetti!
