This App is Absolutely Useless
And so is the new Sena app. It tells me to use the new Sena app to update my Sena using the Wi-Fi adapter. The app updates the Wi-Fi adapter but not the Sena 50S. When I use the new app, it tells me to use the Sena 50 Utility which is this app but it no longer works as of August 2022. I’m buying a Cardo

Works well for me.
I’ve never had any issues with the app or the automatic wi-fi updates.

No. However it gets the job done.
Worst Software
They say they fixed the software, but it’s still buggy and doesn’t work. Not possible to update firmware. Maybe they make a good headset, but their software division is incompetent. I should have stayed with my old Cardo…it just worked.
Worthless and rarely works.
Can’t get the app to see the headset even though it’s paired to a 12 pro max. WiFi firmware adapter is even worse as I was able to get that to work once and never again.
Being the leader in helmet comms means nothing when your products are over priced garbage and you have no real competition. And how unqualified are your app developers if they need a new app for every product you release. Best thing you could do is fire your product development team and get someone that understands how important UX is. You guys are toast as soon as some company decides to enter the market.

So frustrated
How can Sena release this as a flagship product. Little to no documentation and bugged software. I’m pretty tech savvy but this firmware upgrade process is a joke.
WIFI worthless
I just bought the 50R and cannot set up via USB and WIFI. After reading other comments, I upgraded the firmware using my laptop. It requires a download from Sena that uses old Microsoft Visual Basic c++ 2005 download. I bought because it said it pairs with an unlimited number of other devices. We shall see! The pamphlet pictures show four riders.

I enjoy the com system and the app. It works pretty well so far but I would really prefer to have my phone turned on it’s side but there’s no landscape support in the app, maybe this could be addressed in a future update.
Keeps crashing!
Every time i try to change a setting the app crashes and resets everything. Far from impressed. My $100 unit was easier to understand and use.

This app is garbage
I work in IT and troubleshoot problems all day at work. Bought this device today and for the life of me cannot figure out how to connect it to the app on my iPhone or pc using the manufacturers downloadable app on Pc.
The instructions are useless

I’ve attempted to figure this out for hours, and I’m done, returning this product tomorrow.
I will not pay $300 for garbage.

Basically unacceptable
All the Sena apps, including this one, are garbage. Next time I will buy a cardo as their app actually has decent reviews

Your app and user interface are utterly rubbish. And if you don’t know you should try talking to people.
If there were honest reviews and I knew how bad this experience was going to be I would not have spent so much money on what seems an ok product. But a terrible experience

Bluetooth intercom pairing Broken
The app will help you pair 2 units but if you pair 3 or more the app will error and stop working all together. Please fix this thank you
What a joke
This app is horrible. Wife adapter has to be reset multiple times to get recognized. The app has to be constantly restarted to perform task. I’m considering switching to another brand helmet stereo. Paying over 300 dollars only to find such a juvenile application to run things with is a huge disappointment. Sena should be ashamed.

How you put out an app that does not work at all, a company like sena can’t afford to pay for a good app for your device it’s a bit sad
What a joke app.
Can’t setup the WIFI adapter. When the app scans for wifi networks to connect the WIFI adapter to the internet. No networks show up. Not a good start at all with Sena.
Not impressed!!!
So far I’m not impressed!! Bought this and have had it for about 2 months. App is absolute garbage and you can’t update it with the wireless USB like it says you’re supposed to be able to. As far as the unit goes I’ve had to do 2 factory resets for NUMEROUS ISSUES!! I could literally sit here for an hour explaining them but I’m not waisting my time any more on this unit! Finally just updated it via my laptop, if these problems keep happening I’m returning it! Wish I could say the WiFi update was my only issue but just my luck ..... I CANT!

Application
I bought two because of recommendations. I have issues with sound over fourth five miles an hour. I thought with the HD speakers it would have been better. I noticed the update. I have tried to get the update to see if it improves the functionality. I have tried several times to complete this with no avail. I called the number and was told to use 2G. I slowed my system down to 2G and even tried the guest. However, the application never found any of the WIFI’s. I even tried it at my daughters house and the WIFI’s were not found. The company really needs to fix the issue. When you pay almost five hundred dollars for one and you can not update the firmware.

Bugged up
The headset is good quality, the app is garbage right now. WiFi connector is intermittent at best. The app is slow. Functionality doesn’t work for every option available. Just doesn’t work yet. Let me know when the app works for my $500 investment guys..
