No data collection!
Very easy to use app and best of all... no data collection! Thank you. Rare nowadays.
My only suggestion is to add actual preset colours (red, orange, etc) rather than just having a full colour spectrum with a slider.

Garbage app
Do not download disconnects all the time. you should return the bulb for the love of God save yourself a headache

Poorly Outdated Support
It is sad to see that this app has not been updated in 3+ years.
It lacks theme support for “Dark Mode” (to avoid blinding white light in dimmer room lighting conditions).
It lacks LED color cycling that is very prevalent in 2025.
It lacks multi device control sharing.
It’s easy to conclude that Sengled is not concerned w/this app and that another lighting product should be considered instead of Sengled products.

Terrible app
Just awful, not worth buying lights due to this app
Lets you turn the lights off from bed.
This app is what you need if you want to disconnect your Amazon Echo from the light bulbs that often came with them, but still have some remote function. I can get in bed and then turn the lights off without tripping on things or having Alexa send everything I say to Amazon.
It broken
I’ve had to reset my light bulb multiple times in order to connect it to the app and even when I did connect it the light bulb has been on and I’m the app it says the light bulb is offline when it is clearly on.
Not impressed
So since I got this app a week ago I haven’t had any issues yet but they were very easy to add to the app. One thing I don’t like is if someone leaves the lights on I can’t turn them off if I am not at home like I can if they were on my Alexa app. If this could be updated to do that I just might keep the app.

Two years and no update?
Two years and no update? You can’t be serious. These bulbs are not perfect - there should be updates!!! I am constantly loosing connectivity with the bulbs and have to reset and reconnect almost every month. As soon as I scan and find a bulb, it disappears and the app tells me it’s not connected again. I have reached out to customer support multiple times and I have never had anyone adequately solve the issues. If I could just replace all my Sengled bulbs with a different brand, I would.

Scan does not work
You cannot use the QR code to manually connect if the Bluetooth cannot be discovered. The scan option is there but it does not work when tapping the scan option.
Use Alexa app not this app
A lot of people are having trouble connecting this to Alexa. DO NOT DO IT WITH THIS APP. It is much more convenient to hit the + button in the upper right in the Alexa app and then “add device” chose the light and hit the Sengled skill. When it asks if your bulb is Bluetooth his yes. You may need to reset the bulb by turning on and off 20 times. It will immediately find your bulb and connect. Simply add it to the group you want and your all set after 3 minutes.

Bug fixes needed with share app feature
The share app feature does not work and Technical support said today they are working on fixing the bug. The QRCode app transfers the lights to another phone but they don’t work. The family can not have control of lights right now. Only one phone can until this is fixed.

I got a sengled light bulb for Christmas and I tried to connect it and it didn’t even let me connect it so if you get the echo dot and sengled light pack I recommend the Amazon Alexa app instead of this!

I used to use this app, and it works perfectly fine, I don’t understand the other reviews but I guess it’s how it works for them. 1 year later, I tried using this with my mom, unfortunately the Bluetooth thing didn’t connect and wasn’t working. We tried everything but no.
Can’t be used with Alexa
Connects to bulbs, but “Cannot be used with Amazon Alexa app” and some Bluetooth bulbs don’t pair with Alexa directly reliably. I have 4bulbs that were working with Alexa, then became “unresponsive”. I got two to pair, finally, but can’t pair the other two at all now.
I thought using the Sengled app would work. It doesn’t.
I got an Amazon Bluetooth and a GE bulb. The Amazon bulb paired immediately, and the other one works with the GE app, which links immediately with Alexa and pairs.

Stupid
There’s a color spectrum to choose the color you want but no default standard colors. If you want RED they make you choose what ever you feel what red looks like. Once you choose a shade good luck trying to make the other light bulbs look the same shade. This is STUPID.
Doesn’t work
I had this bulb for awhile but had not tried it yet. I decided to give it a shot and it doesn’t connect to the bulb. I turned the light on and off 5 times as instructed and it still did not connect.
