App broken
This is the issue with smart home products. If the company stops offering software, all the hardware becomes useless. I tossed my lights and bought Phillips hue so I don’t have to worry about this happening again. I will tell everybody I know not to purchase any Sengled products.
Unusable app
Couldn’t even create an account. I tried five times and every attempt failed with the message, “The operation failed, please try again.” I installed the app to troubleshoot four Sengled Matter Wi-Fi bulbs that frequently showed “No Response” in Apple Home, but the app itself was unusable. Very disappointing first experience.

I have the smart WiFi led lights and would like to use the functions that are only available through the app. Problem is… I can’t, because when I sign up for an account I get a message that says Operation failed, please try again.
I’ve tried with multiple emails and passwords. So if you’re planning on buying anything from this company, make sure you don’t need the app for any functions.

Not Happy
😡When I first downloaded this app along with the purchasing the lightbulbs to go with it, it worked great for about two weeks. Then the lightbulbs kept disconnecting from the Internet. I would go through the step to redo it. The app would be good for a couple days and then disconnect again.

Light Bulb Won't Work Because App Doesn't Work
I recently lost power and it disconnected my Sengled Smart Bulb from Alexa. I tried to pair it again but the app doesn't work. It starts a doom loop telling me I have to connect to a local network, while it's already connected. I deleted the app, and redownloaded and now it won't let me sign in because of a network fail.

I’ve had my Sengled lights for years and they still work but they will no longer pair to the app considering the app hasn’t been updated in forever I assume that my lights are fine and the app is outdated

When I bought the lights app worked great lights did too but out of nowhere I got kicked out of the app without a way to get in also lights started to flicker different colors and not workings since I could reconnect them in the app

What happened
Used to work great. Since 2024, the app works sometimes if at all. Constantly disconnecting or randomly stating it can’t login. Really basic stuff and no Amazon Alexa support now, too.
Disappointed don’t do it
For the longest I had working lights through the app. One day the app wouldn’t let me log in. I waited a month or two it let me back in. Now it’s back to not allowing me to log in. There’s no point of color changing lights if they won’t color change or turn off with the app. Choose a different brand it’s not worth you having the wrong setting on your lights and the app not work. Can’t imagine being stuck with colored lights everytime and can’t change it.
