The app is pathetic, never works . Let’s list the gripes I have with the app. You can turn on the bulbs, you have to manually turn them on. The app never works . Nothing loads up half the time . I guess the developers went to sleep on this one

What waste of time spend almost the whole day trying to connect but couldn’t

For some reason the bulbs literally pause my music and I have to UNPAUSE it everytime, and I can’t tolerate it anymore so NOT WORTH IT.

Why does the app restart default setting all the time?
This app is garbage. It restarts itself to a default setting of 80% all the time. So
When you come back to your stereo, you suddenly can’t hear your music so you turn up the stereo to then discover you have to go into the app and turn it to 100% then to have your speakers blasting. We just need an app that handles connectivity of speakers- there’s no need for two independent volume levels.

Speakers play low and app doesn’t connect
Lamps work but sound is tinny
Lights work. Unable to link 2 together. Guessing that’s what the solo means. For a JBL speaker is sounds very tinny. With an irritating, high-pitched quality. I have lowered the treble and tried to raise the bass to offset this sound but there is no onboard EQ. You have to change the way your music quality is sent from your music app to the solo speaker. This may make it sound different to the headphones or other wireless music devices. It’s more of a gimmick than something to use on a regular. I realize this is more of a review on the Pulse Solo speaker but this app should have an EQ that can adjust the quality of the sound that the speaker output on a regular basis. I do understand that most other Bluetooth speakers do not have this functionality. They also don’t have an app to control the volume or the light like this one does.

Third replacement bulb and not working
I have had a few replacements and most of them fail shortly after with cracking sound and the most recent had very extremely low volume out of the box. I am not hard of hearing nor so I listen to loud music, i don’t think this line of products is here to stay from my unfortunate personal experience.

App needs update
Bluetooth sound connects and functions. App cannot “find” bulbs to be able to control dimmer or volume from latest iOS updates. Please fix!
Slow to update new versions; doesn’t support apple 15.1 o/s
I got a new iPad and it won’t recognize it. I can’t even “find” the bulb with the app on the new iPad. I have used with old technology for many years. Great idea, but slow to update the release for support

Unsuccessful,and worthless as a three legged chair
If this app had a grade, it will get a d(development needed)!Reason:it loads so long and so slow, it tries to help but nothing is helped, it even took a long time to load on settings to. This app developer needs to do and update.If you won’t listen, fine suffer the consequences and waste of money.🤑🤑🤑 will later be you asking for money 👥🗣💰💰💰💴💵💵💵💰💰👎.I need a developer response about this in a couple of days.

Pretty much its just regular bulb with no extra functionality, its “still searching for the bulb” forever…
