Endlich eine Sonos Steuerung die funktioniert
Was soll man sagen? Es gibt einfach keine gescheite Sonos Steuerung auf dem Markt. Aber endlich habe ich etwas das funktioniert. Und das schon seit vielen Jahren zuverlässig. Weiter so!

Garbage. Would not recommend. The installation app is sluggish and the volume lags with regards to the Sonos product. If you change the song or turn the volume up/down from the controller, one Sonos speaker will turn down and another will stop playing the music all together. Massively disappointed and hope Sonos removes this product from their recommendation list.

What a Disappointment
I gave this DISAPPOINTMENT 1 star because you can’t give 0 stars. This app barely works and the device is a terrible waste of money. It only seems to correctly control volume, pause and skip; none of the other advertised functions work as advertised. I was expecting more from a company that originated in a country known for engineering. Nothing works as advertised. I contact the company for assistance and receive one sentence responses i.e. “I’m confused, that should work.”
They advertise connecting to SONOS Playlists but all that shows are Stations. They claim switching between SONOS Groups, but there are no Groups to find in the app?!
A note to the SENIC NUIMO company: you should be ashamed and I expect you will be out of business in a year.

What a pile of rubbish
If I could give the software negative stars or a zero I would. What a load of rubbish. 12,000 DNS requests a day on my network yet the app tell me it can’t find the hub despite being on the same network and within 15 inches let alone 15 feet. Rubbish rubbish rubbish.
And then when you do manage to get it working the app on the phone forgets the hub and you can’t add it again.

Inconsistent
When it works it’s nice but very sporadic

I have a nuimo control that a friend bought from their kickstarter. It’s a very expensive paperweight that doesn’t achieve the products original goals.
Now it’s an expensive light/speaker controller that requires a hub with a 4 core processor... to control the brightness on a lightbulb!
The app doesn’t even try to connect directly with the nuimo control anymore because it was designed so badly. Now I have a paperweight from a company that doesn’t seem to know how to do anything other than marketing.

Terrible
Onboarding the hub is a complete disaster. Do not waste your time on this.
Doesn’t work
Unbelievably frustrating. The hub will not connect to any of my devices, no matter what I try. Resetting router, resetting network settings, countless power cycles, re-installing the app over and over again.
Hardware seems to be well built, but it’s worthless as I cannot use it.

Does not work
Received a unit direct from Sonos. It requires you to update it before you can use it. Support acknowledges some units cannot be updated, but that you can skip the update. Skipping the update leaves it bricked, doing nothing. Support can’t help you. The app also isn’t optimized for phones with notches. Hard to imagine this getting out the door. Worst hardware device I’ve purchased.

iOS 13.4 Broken
Unlike the change log says... it is physically impossible to onboard this stuff on iOS 13.4. Tried for hours and hours. Followed all of the support manuals and properly reset it. Just terrible.
Disappointing
To be honest I’m disappointed - there’s so much customisation and functionality missing from this. The products are ok but probably not worth the money - the software is a huge let down. It works...but just not as well as I was hoping.
Update: I have downgraded my review to one star after discovering I have to reset the app and hub and go back through the annoying set up process every time it loses connection with Hue (which appears to be often). I’m considering just binning the whole thing. Would give zero stars if I could.

Product doesn’t work
Nice looking hardware but software install won’t work, app freezes and customer support won’t answer my emails. Don’t buy!
Verbindungsaufbau zum Hub schlägt fehl
Was hilft einem der Mega hochwertige Gesamteindruck wenn ich mich mit dem Gerät nicht verbinden kann. Es scheitert an der Stelle wo ich den Hub mit meinem Netzwerk verbinden möchte. Das dauert ewig, der Vorgang kann nicht abgebrochen werden und scheitert egal wie nah ich an der Fritzbox dran bin. Eine Verbindung über Netzwerkkabel ist nicht möglich da die Buchse werksseitig abgeklebt ist und wohl noch nicht implementiert ist. So geht das Produkt erstmal zurück in den Shop.

Waste of time and money
As above, I bought the Nuimo as a kickstarter and semiconductor have failed to deliver on pretty much every promise - add to this the fact that I now how to buy a hub to make the already fairly useless piece of kit work! FFS!!
Doesn’t work very well
The hardware itself works great. 5/5 product, but the app has a lot of problems. It goes black and crashes every time I try to add a phillips light to the control so i cant control my lights with it.
Disappointed
When the Nuimo appeared as a new project on Kickstarter, we were all excited at the idea of a new peripheral to connect to our phones and computers. Yet, Senic have only served to disappoint. Now you have to purchase a hub from them in order to use the Nuimo and Windows is still unsupported.

Funktioniert gut, hat noch etwas Luft nach oben
Ich nutze die Senic App mit einem Nuimo Hub, bisher in Kombination mit einem Nuimo Control und zwei Nuimo Clicks.
Der Hub lässt sich - ein 2,4 GHz WLAN vorausgesetzt, was auch klar so kommuniziert wird - über die App gut einrichten. Aktuell ist die UI rein in englischer Sprache gehalten, hier sollte SENIC für den deutschsprachigen Markt die Texte auch auf Deutsch vorhalten. Nicht alle Kunden in der Zielgruppe sind der englischen Sprache mächtig. ;-)
Die anschließende Einrichtung der restlichen Hardware (Nuimo Control bzw. Nuimo Click) funktioniert ebenso gut. Die Schalter lassen sich den eigenen Vorlieben nach umbenennen. Die Einrichtung für die Steuerung der Sonos Geräte bzw. Philips hue Beleuchtung funktioniert problemlos.
Optimierung besteht bei der Zuordnung der Beleuchtungs-Szenen bzw. Leuchtmittel je Schalter. Diese sind derzeit in der Liste für die Zuordnung nicht alphabetisch geordnet, was bei einer hohen Anzahl an Leuchtmitteln bzw. Szenen etwas Suchen erfordert. Man kommt zum Ziel, aber es könnte noch etwas komfortabler gehen. Dieses Verhalten zeigen aber auch viele andere Apps zur Philips hue-Steuerung, ggfs. ist das auch auf Seiten der Philips hue Bridge nicht optimal gelöst.
Eine Lücke aus meiner Sicht ist, dass neu in Philips hue eingebundene Leuchtmittel nicht automatisch vom Hub übernommen werden. Hier fehlt mir die Möglichkeit, die Übernahme (z.B. per Button) neu anzutriggern, wie es bei der Ersteinrichtung eines Schalters der Fall ist. Das habe ich nur mittels Rücksetzen des Nuimo Hubs auf die Werkseinstellungen hinbekommen - es war dann zügig alles wieder eingerichtet.
Insgesamt eine gute und brauchbare App, die noch etwas Luft nach oben hat. Einige Verbesserungen (wie die Übersetzung für eine deutschsprachige UI) sollten sich ohne viel Aufwand umsetzen lassen.
Das SENIC Team macht aus meiner Sicht einen großartigen Job: Tolle Hardware mit grandioser Haptik, die für mich bisher sehr zuverlässig funktioniert. Auf Anfragen hat der Support grandios reagiert, das habe ich so in über 20 Jahren mit sehr viel Technik noch nie erlebt. Ganz groß!

Constant Updates
Yea sure, the app sucked in the beginning but this is a startup so frankly, what do you expect. What I can say though that this company is shipping regular updates and the products are running smoothly by now.
Nicht alltagstauglich!
Total unübersichtlich, buggy, unlogisch, nicht auf iphone x optimiert, keine 5GHz connection! Hardware macht eigentlich guten Eindruck, alles andere schafft nur Frust. Schade, gute Idee leider katastrophale Umsetzung:-(
