My go to App on the road
I downloaded this app when it first came out. I love it because I can still keep informed without having to open my laptop

Very helpful site and informative
Great app
This is a very easy way to engage with the daily newsletters, read articles, do puzzles and enter competitions using your phone for those times when you cannot access the computer. Larger screen and keyboard on the computer is handy for “old eyes” and “fumbly fingers” but the app is certainly very handy and allows you great access, especially on the go.

The SDC club is excellent with interesting news and other information. It’s great and very worthwhile to join it.
Hopeless App
I was hoping for a very simple app that listed the discounts available with a search function that would allow for you to search by category and then location instead it has information unrelated to discounts for seniors clogging it up none of which I need if they want to have that information available it should be in a separate app.

Clickbait & scare tactic headlines
Mixed in amongst some vaguely useful information are a lot of clickbait headlines (‘These Aussies could save….’ which only apply to one state) and disguised links to personal information grabbing advertisements.
Also a lot of ‘the sky is falling’ scare stories playing into seniors insecurity.
I’ve not seen one actual discount I could use yet.

A clunky app which does not save preferences. Looks like it was designed in the 90’s

I find the Seniors Discount Club app. really easy to use and very helpful. Thanks for the effort your team put into the app. and of course your daily newsletters. I really enjoy catching up with you and the daily reports.

Old Age is a Privilege
Being a senior is serious, sometimes scary, especially if you live alone or far from family, so it’s great to discover an amazing extended community spread across the country, whose members share your interests, your problems and (sometimes) laugh at your jokes. All you need to join is an internet-connected phone or pc and proof you are over 60 years old.
There is plenty to laugh about in the Seniors Discount Club.
Members post favourite jokes and riddles and the Games section has OzWord, Trivia, Sudoku, Solitaire and Bingo. And while you do these each day you can drink your tea or coffee in a free personalised mug emblazoned with the club motto reminding you that “Old Age is a Privilege ~ Not Given To All”.
So you want to know how to use your Senior Card? Look on the SDC app. You need advice about CentreLink or your Transport Authority? Check the SDC app or just ask any of the members online. You will find daily news on shopping specials, on sports and politics, on royalty and pets, on cooking and handicrafts, on health and environment — all tailored to “Australia’s wise and wonderful” over-60s.
I joined early in 2024 and can only find one fault: the SDC app is extremely addictive.

Very informative app
I find this app very informative for Seniors. The information is very helpful as it is diverse and covers many areas that Seniors require information about.
Adfest
Opened the app, ads everywhere and even processed meat. Very bad.
