hi, I really like the headphones and wish they would be still supported now with USB-C devices like iPad Pro. Please update your apps ande eventually the headphones`firmware so we dont have to trahs them. I am using the official adapter, but of course the headphones are not detected.

This headset no longer connects to the app on iPhone 15 ProMax with the Anker C to lightning adapter.
No updates for USB C adapters.
I bought the Anker lightning to USBC adapter to use my headset with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. It just says “please connect to lightning port”. They are now useless.

Can we get USB-C adapter support using the AMBEO Smart Headset? I want to be able to continue to use that headset with my USB-C Apple device. Seems like a pretty easy update to the app.

Eigentlich sind es tolle Kopfhörer - grade wenn man kreativ ist: man kann sie sogar als Grenzflächenmicros nutzen. Wenn - ja wenn es die Möglichkeit einer manuellen Aussteuerung gäbe. Aber aus mir unerfindlichen Gründen wird das verhindert.
Ich kenne so viele Musikerkollegen, die ein solches Mikrofon lieben würden - und es aufgrund dieses Problems nicht nutzen können.
Also: sennheiser, implementiert die Funktion und ich bin restlos glücklich!

App funktioniert leider nicht bei Ipad Pro mit usb-c und Adapter. Kopfhörer wird von der App nicht erkannt. 😡 Schade eigentlich, war von der Aufnahmequalität begeistert.

Shure Motiv’s app works with this and records 3d just fine, as does the built-in camera and what-not, but when launching this app and plugging it in, it doesn’t detect the headset through the USB-C adapter. Sure would be nice if this would work.

Doesn’t work
The app doesn’t recognise the headset. Perhaps it doesn’t with ios15. This may be a good thing, though, as, based on reviews, this means that it can’t brick the headset with a dud firmware update!
Works but recording levels too low
Only two choices of recorded level : “reduced Level” might be ok for something very loud (pop concert, football match or air display) but “normal level” is much too low to record ambient sounds of say, nature, but might be ok for noisy city walk-about. Would suggest future update should include a third setting for a “boosted level” for quiet ambient surroundings for example sound of nature, bird song, seashore etc. That would make the App and headset much more useful. As it is at present the headset In my view is of limited use.

EQ not changeable on iOS 14.4.2.
I have updated to ios 14.4.2 and EQ presets don’t work and custom EQ can’t be saved. Please give the app an update with a new look and controls. There is still a lot of who enjoy the Ambeo Headsets!
Nach der Installation funktioniert die Rauschunterdrückung nicht mehr
Habe die App im März 2021 heruntergeladen. Die Installation hat dann im 9. Versuch geklappt, 8mal brach es ab. Habe den Ambeo angeschlossen und dann wieder getrennt. Danach funktionierte die Rauschunterdrückung nicht mehr -kurios-.
Habe den Ambeo heute zurückgegeben, da das Mono-Mikro für Videokonferenzen viel zu leise ist, sagen jedenfalls meine Videokonferenzpartner. Ich nutze den Ambeo mit meinem iPad-mini 2 und FaceTime. Schade, denn der Klang und der Sitz sind gut

My headset doesnt Record bineural.
I did everything. I downloaded the app. Then update the firmware. But it is not working. I dont know it is something firmware error or faulty headset either way it is really big shame Sennheiser!

Took 3 attempts to update firmware of the Ambeo smart headset. Update failed on first attempt at 91%, this removed all the remote control functions that were originally working out of the box. Second attempt failed at 75% and third completed successfully which restored the functionality.
Mono Level und in ear mic Balance nicht einstellbar
Mono MIC im Kabel nicht einstellbar, schade. Die Empfindlichkeit des im Kabel eingebauten mic‘s ist viel zu gering, dies wird bei Telefonaten vom Gesprächspartner regelmäßig angemerkt, selbst wenn man das MIC näher an den Mund bringt, was nur eingeschränkt möglich ist, ändert sich dieser Missstand kaum. Einstellbarkeit des Mono Mic‘s wäre also schön. Ein Balance der in ear Mic‘s fehlt ebenfalls. Schade! Daher für das sonst sehr gute Headset nur 3 Sterne
