What's New in Sennoslink
1.2.0
March 17, 2026
Sennoslink Mobile v1.2.0 is our biggest mobile release since launch. Here's what customers will see when they update. Site Assessment for New Prospects Prospective customers can now download the app and evaluate their brewery's readiness for Sennos hardware on their own. A guided first-run flow walks them through a connectivity test (with automatic retry), country-specific adapter guidance, and a contact form that goes straight to sales. No account needed. Existing users skip the flow entirely — they'll never see it. pH Calibration from Your Phone Cellar operators can now calibrate M3 pH sensors directly from the app via Bluetooth. The wizard walks through a two-point calibration (pH 7, then pH 4) with color-coded screens that match the physical buffer solution bottle caps — yellow for pH 7, pink for pH 4. That physical-to-digital connection matters in low-light cellar environments where reading labels is hard. The screen stays awake during calibration, and error messages are clear and specific. We're rolling this out via feature flag so we can control the pace. OTA App Updates When a new version is ready, a snackbar notification appears in-app with a link to Settings. From there, users tap to restart and apply the update immediately. Dismissed notifications are remembered so users aren't prompted repeatedly. Better Fermentation Data Yeast strain (culture name + generation), Original Gravity, and Final Gravity are now visible on Fermentation Details. Mobile users now see the same fermentation parameters as web users. Regional Barrel Standards US and Imperial barrel measurements are now applied consistently across every mobile surface — Dashboard, Tank List, Fermentation views, Explorer, filters, and forms. Web and Mobile stay in sync. Smarter Battery Warnings The start-fermentation battery check threshold moved from 33% to 70%. The warning now shows the current battery level and recommends charging or using a battery pack — catching low-charge situations before a batch is underway. Device Unlink Prompt When ending a fermentation, operators are now prompted to unlink the M3 from the tank. This keeps device-tank associations current so sensors show as available when they're back on the charger. Wi-Fi Signal Strength Charts Historical Wi-Fi signal strength charts are now available on Device Details, Fermentation Details, and Explorer views — displayed as a percentage over time with 30-day, 2-week, and 1-week ranges. Operators can identify connectivity patterns tied to specific locations or time periods, and correlate signal quality with fermentation data. Under the Hood Tank Details layout reordered to show Fermentations and Live Readings first. Time zone labels standardized to (GMT±HH:MM) matching web. Location address and phone are now optional for faster mobile setup. Deprecated Bluetooth library replaced on Android. 12 bug fixes. Test coverage jumped from 24% to 79%.
