About
Sensor 3D is a lightweight sensor application for monitoring device sensors . These sensors are already present on iphones and ipads so there is no need for an additional hardware.
It records and displays the sensor data in a 3D fashion.
Users have the option of sending the data as an email with different file formats.
Sensor3D does not require additional hardware to control or work with.
Sensor3D currently monitors the following device sensors:
- Magnetometer
- Gyroscope
- Orientaton
- Acceleration
Sensor3D collects data from these sensors whenever a sensor reading is changed. In addition, a sample is collected every second regardless if there is a change in the data or not.
The user has the option of starting or stopping the monitoring of each sensor individually.
The sensor data is not stored on the device nor sent to anywhere with the exception of user purposely sending the data to an e-mail recipient. Sending the sensor data to an e-mail recipient is done by clicking the "send" button on the application.
